  1. I've seen 3 or 4 (might have seen one twice) from nissan now, 2 from https://nissangenuine.com/ and 2 from a local dealer and they all leave a lot to be desired. Here's a few photos of what I'm seeing Crack (where it changes colour): Swirl marks and a crack: Swirl marks: Crack on the edge: Surely this can't be normal?!? The dealers are very uninterested in helping find a decent one. Hanwell today were trying to tell me they couldn't see a crack when it was blindingly obvious. I've asked CZP if they can supply a better one, not sure what else I can do
  2. Got stuck behind a GTR plodding along last night, typical Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  3. I've always thought mk4 Supras looked like a clown car tbh, all curvy and wavy. And the interior around the driver looks like a bus, or a forklift truck. All that flat real estate. I don't desire one at all! I'm having a hard time remembering which of the below is the supra As for the rest, I do really like the look of the NSX. RX7 is all curvy again. Most of the others are saloons that are trying way too hard - they aren't sports/GT cars at all. Makes them chavy in my book ?
  4. Always satisfying when you finally fix something! Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  5. Subscribed members can upload photos, I guess maybe standard members have to host on another site and link?
  6. Yea there are links to buy on the website I think. I've bought datascan as it's cheaper than conzult. I'm not sure it's quite as feature rich, but it's enough for me. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  7. We're talking about the odometer, not the speedo. I have a MPH speedo (took ages to find as its series 4) but my odometer has stayed in KM. Just pointing out that the odometer staying in KM is, if anything, better IMO. Certainly not worth putting in any effort to replace it!
  8. I think there are mixed usages of the word "cable" here....no there is obviously no mechanical speedo cable, yes there is an electric cable that goes to the speed sensor. But saying the cable needs to change is wrong - it's the sensor you need to change. Btw if I were you, I'd be very happy the odometer is still in Km. No messy half and half conversions to do, no writing "oh it's a mixture of miles and km" when you sell it. I'm very happy mines always stayed in km! Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  9. This - makes me sad whenever I see one getting broken, just means theres one less
  10. You might have to fit it and go for a run to see how it counts up
  11. Looking good, how did you clean the springs then?
  12. Sounds like a bargain to me, I was under the impression the rear sub frame was a pig to remove Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  13. 2" as I have stock pipework. I think they're called czp massive intercoolers Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  14. In my experience, even if you only split some of the nut, the friction is massively reduced and then it's easy to spin it off as normal Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  15. Aching muscles today then! Is it a nut your stuck on? Could try a (hilariously named) nut cracker, I've had a lot of success with them. Splits the nut in two but doesn't damage the bolt. Need a new nut if course, but very handy when you can't stop ball joints spinning for example Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  16. Also available here for different years https://conceptzperformance.com/wiki/index.php/Factory_Service_Manual
  17. I keep a 4ft bar in the corner for when the going gets tough
  18. I would look at getting braided hoses as well as they can make the pedal firmer, which helps with the feel. I would do those and a brake brace, check the MC is good, then see how they feel. Then decide if you want to upgrade Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  19. Classicline are happy with mods then? My car is pretty lightly modified in the grand scheme of things, pretty normal stuff like air filter, exhaust, clutch & flywheel, one piece prop, brakes etc, no big engine changes. But every insurer I speak to always says 'wow, lot of mods then' and I always think well not really...but it always seems to take them by surprise which I find really odd
  20. Contrary to my last post then, maybe I should just give them a ring and ask first! Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  21. Might join z club and give it a go then! Thanks Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  22. Yea totally agree, same reasons I'm looking to get agreed valuation on mine - I was wondering where the valuation of the car itself comes into the agreed valuation for the insurance. Cus if zclub turn around and say it's worth £10-12k, surely that doesn't help your cause of wanting to insure it for £25k if you see what I mean. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
  23. All I had to do when fitting my 350z front Brembos was enlarge the hole size for the studs in the hub. Unfortunately I can't tell you what sort of improvement they were over stock as the brakes were still shit after they were fitted, turned out I needed a new MC! But I'm very happy with the feel of them with a brake brace fitted as well. Personally I don't see any need in going bigger - unless you are tracking it and you need to worry about fade, you are limited by your tyre grip anyway.
  24. Thanks for the pictures - that's where I have been looking, and whilst there is a small screw hole there, there is no matching hole for the little dowel so it wouldn't sit flat. Ah well, its very hidden, so it will do. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
