  1. Bought this one home yesterday, apparentley no stranger to this club/forum. I had this off Friday (Leigh) and after a quick wash and check over it appears to be a very straight clean example, probably because of the time its spent in his garage. Not a bit of rust anywhere. I have another engine to go into it as this one is only firing on 3, but it did fire up with a new battery. This is for the wife as she does'nt want a TT after driving mine, so i'm not complaining. It was on 4 x spacesavers, so i've put on a set of 18s I took off my TT. Once the engine is swapped over, it will get a thorough service, brakes etc and sorted for next spring.
  2. No, I dont lol, they are all GTO's, he collects them, I keep trying to count them when I pass, got to 12 so far. I live nr Corwen, just that I am filling in at my brothers coach company for a bit and pass Oswestry twice a day.
  3. If Dougal has'nt got all the bits you need, I've got quite a few to help you out, I'm only at Nescliffe, in the week.
  4. The timing marks do need to match up with the marks on the back plate on all 4 cams, assuming you do have it set at TDC
  5. I sold a car to someone from Latvia on ebay, he arranged the collection and the driver paid me cash when he turned up, and I've sold a few cars to lads from Poland. the main thing is communication, as long as they keep you informed of what they are doing then it is easier to believe they are going to be genuine, but that said there are messers on ebay.
  6. i'm happy no-one got the pics of me running from them bloody fireworks lol
  7. Was a good day/evening, even if it was a bit cold. The wife got a few pics although not really great, dont know if anyone else had a camera. The fireworks were good ones (Thanks Ian) and the kids loved them, and the adults but they didnt let on:lol:. Just hope everyone was happy and well fed/watered.
  8. No, dont think so Rob, the sun is out and its quite warm too, so looking good so far, but the wifes done some special soup to warm you all later if it turns cold
  9. I'm working not far from you, in fact I pass through Oswestry every night on the way home. We've got a BBQ/Fireworks meet on Saturday if your interested http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=155481, a few of the North Wales members will be there, no need to show up in a Z either. Will probably see you around town soon then.
  10. Bump, plenty of burgers and sausages:clap:
  11. Who the hell left that mess on the porch:hammer:
  12. A quick bump for this. Are we sorted on the fireworks now? Everything else is in hand. Anyone is welcome as has been mentioned earlier.
  13. Looks good, now I can see it lol, are you painting it to match the car, or covering it in cloth?

  17. Pm'd you all
  18. I dont think there is anything we need realy, I'm sure there will be plenty for all.
  19. I'll chip in the rest Ian, saves me trying to find fireworks here.
  20. Just me and you Ian:whistling: never mind more food for us lol, and if your a good boy I'll let you have a sparkler:tt2:
  21. To keep the other ones company:whistling: Definately think its worth saving rather than breaking, and I fancy a shortie
  22. ssshhhhhhh dont tell everyone, I'm watching this one lol
  23. I'll have mine with me on Friday Chris
  24. Congrats Ian,....... I thought you'd just gone a funny colour....again
  25. You know you are welcome at mine anytime, however if anyone has any suggestions of other places I wont be offended lol. The main reason I offer, is that I have the room for loads of vehicles, we have no neighbours (only sheep) to worry about. Just to remind everyone it is open to anyone to come, including your family, and you dont need to turn up in your Z. Its probably not the most central, but its not that far from civilization either. Rough idea at the moment is a mid afternoon start to the bbq, with fireworks early evening. Suggestions are welcome, as are preferences on food etc
