  5. Dont know if anyone has seen this yet, but thought it may be of interest if you are looking to replace tyres in the near future. Have'nt had any more info off our supplier yet. Tyre specialist Falken has announced UK availability for its strongest and quietest high-performance tyre yet, the Azenis FK453. A replacement for the Japanese firm's FK452, the FK453 will for the first time be available in a Y speed rating model for use at speeds of up to 186mph as well as in 62 different sizes in the 25 to 50 series including a 20in version designed to fit sports and performance cars including the Volkswagen Golf GTI, BMW 1 Series M Coupe, Porsche 911 and Audi RS5. To ensure the tyre was appropriate for European roads and climate, Falken claims to have used its engineering team based in Frankfurt to develop the specification. In addition to testing on European public roads and private proving grounds, engineers also gained feedback from Falken's racing drivers at the Nürburgring who tested the tyres. The resulting "NUR-Spec" design incorporates a more warp resistant casing and additional nylon-reinforced cover ply to increase high-speed stability. This construction is complemented by a rounder tyre shoulder, optimising pressure deployment on the tread area compared to the outgoing model. According to Falken, dry handling has been improved by 25 per cent while handling on wet surfaces is boosted by 30 per cent compared to the outgoing FK452 tyre. Additionally, a combination of tread pattern improvement and changes to the tyre compound has led to an eight per cent reduction in braking distances on wet surfaces. The tyre is due to launch in the UK in the coming weeks, with Falken yet to confirm pricing for the range.
  6. Why dont you just revert the suspension back to standard, I'm getting old too thats why I got rid of the coilovers and went back to stock, and I have'nt regreted it, in fact i LOVE DRIVING IT now. Tbh when Nissan first made the Z the suspension was good enough for it then so why not now, unless of course your tracking/drifting etc. Its your choice, but I think you'll regret it. (Btw I've got some more standard suspension if you need it:laugh:)
  7. I know but I aint tellin lol.............. for a price

  9. A big thanks to everyone who turned up today. 300zx_666, Ian junior, T.Mogsy, roobarb, Ck300Z and Dave. Started off with a very nice meal and a drink at the pub, and a bit of a chat and look round the cars (especially that weird looking spoiler on toms car, i believe it was made by some person on here:tt2::tt2:) not really its quite a good looking spoiler:thumbup1: We then had a small convoy (4 zeds) to Parkgate on the Wirral for some icecream. The shop there is famous apparently for its variety of flavours. The rain held off at least for the day and it was good to see everyone again and have a mini cruise too. The most Zeds I've seen on the road together so far. I'm sure someone has got pics of today, I did take some but cant upload them on the pc for some reason
