  1. As above, same place as last month as we had a good meet. Time is around 2.pm The Piper Pub Pipers Lane Hoole Chester CH2 3LS Myself and Ian are trying to make the Trentham Gardens show on the 16th with both cars, so all being well we should be both back in a Z this time. If anyone cant make it on this date, we can always arrange a date to suit, so either post an alternative date your available, or pm me.
  2. iIve got one somewhere, had them fitted to my black one
  3. Started on the TT I bought from Markfreeman, today. Apparently had an overheating issue and was stripped back ready, so after investigating and stripping down the bits, it turns out to be the thermostat housing. Two hours later, a couple of short runs and 1 coilpack later it purrs like a cat, no water issues at all. And it turns out the "squeeling" noise he had was a knackered aircon unit, so good result today.

    Thanks to everyone who turned up, and a big welcome to new member Steve in his red Z. We only had 3 Zs today, but Sarah had to go early so we only got pics of the other two, and a couple of mug shots for the wanted posters:tt2:
  8. Loaded mine on the trailer at last, off to the unit to change the engine, fit new exhaust and prep for mot
  9. Welcome to the club, good to hear of another in the North Wales area, and if you fancy meeting some of the club members, pop over for this if you can make it http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?169447-Next-Meet-18th-May
  10. We haven't had a meet for some time, and now the weather is getting better, its about time we arranged another mini meet. Location is near Chester, and most of the usuals know it now, but for those who fancy a meet, with or without your Z, the details are below. Food is available at the pub if needed and we usually follow up with a short run to the Wirral for an ice cream at Parkgate. ( I bought the last ones, who's turn is it next:thumbup:) Everyone is welcome to come, at least if only to blow off the cobwebs from the winter, and meet other owners too for a chat/advice/Ideas Time is around 2.pm The Piper Pub Pipers Lane Hoole Chester CH2 3LS Thankyou Keith
  11. Dont get me wrong, I'm not defeatist, and now the time and weather hopefully starts to improve I will start the North Wales meets again, even though our REO has dissapeared, but I still think the key word is commimtent, and I appreciate your thinking on the thread too. Everyones opinions and thoughts should be examined, then examined again until you run out of excuses as too why not? I've turned up as have some others to our local meets in any car just to be there, but I suppose if its a toss up between meeting up with me and a few other hairy blokes and staying in front of the telly ,, well, you choose lol
  12. Having been a joint REO I know how frustrating it can be, (when your wife organises food etc only to be dissapointed when hardly anyone turns up). I understand this was a thread in relation to parts etc but reading some of the comments also doesnt inspire confidence. Quote There are far to many dogs out there now to try and raise the prestiege of the car. Every car will do this and the supra is now starting t do this, .Not everyone has the ability or the money to be the "Best in Show, but what they probably have in spades is commitment, and until the owners/members utilise that commitment its going to be a long haul. I'm not slating anyone in particular but picking up on the comments so far.
  13. I've got some fitted, smoked, not sure if they look any good on other coloured Z's
  14. Postcode for anyone who doesnt know it is LL21 0NL, and try not to get lost this time Sam?
  15. Next meet is on the Sunday 2nd Sept at Corwen, for a BBQ and drive around Bala for photos. We are having a similar get together at my place, the same as last years bbq. Everyone is welcome, in fact we make it a family affair, so even wives/husbands and kids are encouraged lol Time is not set in stone but probably 2.00pm onwards Hopefully the weather will be good to us this time:yes:
  16. ..................................for one of these Do you think I can make enough money???????? what an awesome machine, the power is instant and seems endless, makes my Z seem like a tractor lol
  17. Give me bell Rob, see where we are by then, although I've been getting back home about 8ish after the last few meets.
  18. I am :tt2::tt2:
  19. Now you mention it, so they did, thats my excuse for when the missus gets back next week and finds out she's got a golf instead of a passat
  20. I'm going to have to pinch it off him while he's away, blew the Passat up today:crying:
  21. I thought you were taking the lawn mower instead, come on, a deals a deal:lol::lol::lol::lol: Btw Your washing up next time
  22. Looks good Rob, you got much more to do?? Btw did you get that part in the post?
  23. As above, again at Chester. It was decided that as it was pretty central and a few more members have expressed interest, we would keep it here for this next month. It was a good turnout for our last one on the 7th July, with new faces, and new members and some very nice Z's. It was a bit of a hectic one, as I was on holiday with the family and dragged them down to Chester then back again, so we didnt get any pics, but I shall be in the Z this time and armed with the camera. Oh and the ice cream was lovely:yes::yes: So dont be shy, turn up no matter what your in, your welcome to come and chat Time is approx 2.00pm on the Saturday afternoon The Piper Pub Pipers Lane Hoole Chester CH2 3LS
