Slimline wheel nuts ?
Righto, so standard size shiny new wheel nuts (TBH was gonna replace them anyway as existing ones seem to be mix and match) are 22mm ? (or isn't there a standard size ?). Whats the search term as "slim socket" or "narrow socket" isn't finding anything ! hollandrob are they the actual ones you have ? good quality ?

Slimline wheel nuts ?
I think its more a case of the socket fitting ? but tbh I dunno as never needed them before ! All I know is my wheel brace won't fit :p

Slimline wheel nuts ?
It looks like I may need some ... I don't want anything flash, or to pay a fortune, but obviously want them to be safe ! The wheel nut "tunnel" is 28mm diameter, if that is relevant ? Any recommendations or link to known good ones would be appreciated :)

speedo
Does it have a facia put on or a kmh to mph converter (Possibly miswired) ? A quick conversion has 116kmh = ~73 mph that may be may be a coincidence though... I imagine if none of the above, then a faulty sender unit but I am only guessing. Best way to test is compare to your sat nav CoolQ.

600zx - Finally back to work....
Hmmm ... ok I'll pitch in a complete guess of 394bhp @ the wheels with a tight engine .... and probably around 423 ft/lb of torque, whos next ? :)

Anyone heard of AS highspeed wheels ?
As title, personally had not heard of them, but wondered if anyone else has any insight ?

another tyre thread
I know, was just pointing out the stock outside diameters as ideally you would want to stay as close to them as possible. 225/50/17 is 25.4mm larger than stock. It may be fine, but keep an eye out to be sure. As for speedo reading, I don't think it will be affected as the reading comes from the rear wheels/gearbox as far as I am aware.

another tyre thread
stock sizes 225/50/16 = 631.4 It will fit, may rub somewere at extremes possibly. I wouldn't run it myself though.

Gray Paint
I got genuine Nissan paint from here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Genuine-Nissan-Touch-Up-Spray-Paint-Any-Colour-/160582244917?_trksid=p4340.m263&_trkparms=algo%3DDLSL%252BSIC%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUCI%252BIA%252BUA%252BFICS%252BUFI%252BDDSIC%26otn%3D8%26pmod%3D400196369145%252B400196369145%26po%3D%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D8875388903175971874 Mine didn't match up TBH (was TK3 Blue) but thats more likely due to the colour itself and possability of variances between JDM and UK shades of the same code. But as you want to do bumpers, they may not be suitable as they are only little 300ml cans, so wouldn't work out too cheap !

Why the SWB?
I think its probably closer to 8 inches difference ;) TBH there isn't any competition, shorties look better and that's all there is to it :whistling:  ......... now were did I put my flameproof suit :rofl::rofl:
-
Why the SWB?
I like all Zeds, but at some point while I was looking for one I fell for the shortie as I think it looks better proportioned, and as already said, why do you need rear seats in a sports car ? :)
-
Can't sleep and still thinking about Zeds'.
You know the car, and have spent a lot on it, no point getting another IMO. She's a great looker. Give her the service and enjoy the summer with the car, if you already have the manual swap parts, see if you can save for the prop over the summer and do the conversion and prop as your winter project ...

Powering front seats
Yep I am not sure if it was an option or just discontinued in later years, but the seats currently in are not electric, they do have some wires underneath which I presume are just for the seat belt sensors. So what I would like to know is were is the best/most convenient place to take a power feed from if their is not one already their ?
