sorry guys bout this, i'm about to order from millers web site and my question being. Does the oil you use for the diff, the same as you'd use for the gearbox as well? so I can order at the same time.... Thanx ..... Mark

If have been using dba's ( from smithy ) and have been very good so far...( now waiting on me new fronts now as well!! )

thanks john, Suppose it helps to do this when the diff is out of the car anyway to do this..!! actually lying about 3 feet away from the car at the moment !!....do silkolene have their own website..i've been lookin at millers' web site and heard good reports about them, but also have heard v good reports on silkolene as well....Also can you really do damage if you over fill a diff.....is 2 litres exact or there abouts?

Hi to all, need a question answered if poss..I'm changing the oil in my diff and need to know how much it takes to fill it ( I have removed the cooler system on it - only the uk tt's have these..) ) Would this mean the amount of oil to fill a diff would be the same as a jap tt? as it never had a cooler system on it anyway. I'm asking just to be on the safe side. There is a marker on the diff itself which basically says full ( as such ) Any recommendations also on the kind of oil and where i can get me some would be much appreciated !! Mark

please tell me this zed has to have been in safety boost mode or is a non turbo or some sh1t like that!!. my mechanic just said they were shagged and need changin , so as i thought i spent 1k on the tein suspension, got the calipers all rebuilt and re coated in teflon, and changed my discs from oem to dba's 4000's and porterfields and have had all the arms all resprayed to new standards, it makes sort of since to finish it all off, if you get me drift!!

not really, just open to suggestions..is that what you have on yours dave..just tryin to do everything as well as possible, spent a fortune so far!!!

Hi to all. have a bit of a teckie question....I am wondering the difference ( if any ) would changing the front tension rods on my uk tt make to these tien ones i've come across.....I already have tein suspension on the car and have been told the oem ones already on the car are knackered ( the bush anyway) and would this make a worth while change... I think they are £199 to get the new teins...

i've eventually got to this..essentially cutting every scrap of rust out...The car had been repaired before ( by a cowboy ) and had to undo and cut all the crap they'd done out as well... some of the filler was atleast an inch thick!!! :hurl:

i think its called proxy bidding. You bid a maximum amount you will pay, which may not actually be the amount you end up paying, if you win. It automatically ups your buying price if someone outbids you, till you reach "your" maximum bid...

there is a way to retract your bid, citting and explanation ..example, couldnt get a hold of seller etc. and resonable excuse will do. dosent affect your feedback rating , but will show you retracted a bid..hope that helps..
