thats the funny thing, It had a Mot and running on the road as well!! - considering the Mot over here in northern ireland is much more stringent, you'd have thought that it was ok!! lol

Hi folks, bought the zed back in october 04 and its being worked on ever since. Rust shall we say is a big problem ( if you get my drift ) After about 10 grand , I might get it back this time next year!! Just thought I would give you all a progress report....these are the really bad pics and some of the work thats been done!!

thanks for the ideas. is there anything to cover the inside of the discs, to stop eventual rust coming through? I think they are called bells?

like i said before m8, you are from northern ireland ( like me ) and that will always be a downer as far as mainland uk insurance companies are concerned...like wheelman said even insuran a roller skate can be difficult, especially a 280bhp import!!

if you ever get it insured let me know m8. dont really have anything over here , like meets etc , like our friends generally on here.. good luck with the insurance .. (pm)

depends what you can afford m8. As markzx mentioned earlier the teins really are that good, but like all good things..they generally cost more than usual. My tein kit cost me £900, but are fully adjustable as well, which helps..so you can change height and damping rate when your right foot see's fit...yum yum

Hi to all, i have heard removing the hicas sysytem from my tt ukz is a worthwhile thing to do. Do i need one of those hicas elimanator bars on the traders sites and is there a general benifit to it other than having probs!! thanx Mark

I am at the moment changing my diff oil as it is off the car for cleaning, so recomendations would be appreciated. ( no mention of engine oli ! )
