Any other toys?
It still has an A series as I wanted to see what I can squeeze out. 1430cc lightened balanced (revs from 1600 to 8000rpm). Large valve full race head ported polished High lift rockers Race cam and duplex timing gear. Lightened, V wedged offset ground balanced crank Weber 40 carb Lightened clutch and flywheel and staight cut gear box Electric water pump Used to have NOS but have taken that off now and loads of other stuff Last rolling road showed 145bhp which is not bad for a car that two people can lift up and move around the garage!

Thinking of starting my own company
Good advice from th others above! I went self employed about 4 years ago and I reckon I do a third less work now for much more money. Also the flexibility and time off, as and when is great. I admit that I do burn the midnight oil when needed but its on my own terms and I love it. No more getting dirty looks when you get in 10 minutes late and as much holiday as you can afford. I would recommend to everybody although many would not take the plunge...

Where's my nearest decent zed garage?
When people leave their cars at Zedworld, do they just get the train home or can Jeff provide another car? Ive been thinking about going but is 3 hours away.

Good luck with the search. I am often around the Hertford / St Albans area, so if your travelling West we could arrange something?

Anyone fancy doing a miny meet in the South East. I never get spotted and am always too far from most of the meets to join in the midlands or up north. Im in Hertfordshire / Essex and dont mind organising it if it close enogh for mi missus to drive back from :whistling:

This is a long shot!
The vents are for a granny annex, kitchen and bathroom. Dont worry, they already hate me deep down. 2 petitions at planning stage of over 80 people each, and an objection from the town council (member who lives on the street!) - still got permission tho... I have convinced the imediate neighbours that it is good fore all parties, just wanted to know what the letter of the law was?

Automatic vs manual
Manual is best, surely the driver in our sort of cars wants to be in control (not in traffic)? Ive have lots of GT cars and always fighted with auto boxes and certainly you dont have the same driving pleasure. Sorry auto boys

This is a long shot!
I know we have a great club here with a wealth of knowledge so hoping sombody might know this. We are going to start a new build project - a one bed bungalow between two other houses. We are friendly with the neighbours, however one of our walls is right on the boundary, where there are some vent extracts discharging onto our land. Now I know that is technically illegal, however they have been there for around 20 years, so I think they now have a right! The neighbour has said that legally, as it is illegal to block them and we have to pay for the re routing of them within his property. So the question is - do we have to pay for this, and what constitutes blocking? If we were 50mm away would that be blocked? I know someone might know... :helpsmilie:

Brembo caliper pads?
I am having a nightmare with front pads! I have the skyline Brembo caliper and 320mm disc conversion but am finding it difficult to get usable pads. Ive just changed from Ferodo DS 2500 Pads (FCP1298H) as they were too hard for the road and sqealed sooo much. Bought a set of new EBC discs and yellow stuff pads (code EBCDP41032R) and once again fine when you get some real heat in but driving around town the noise is horendos! As well as that even when the brakes are not being applied there is a sound from the pads, like they are slightly touching the discs, like metal to metal eeerrggghhh:no: Can anyone give me the part code for the standard Blueprint pads as I just want to go back to standard and I do not have a registration number or exact year of the car?? Thanks Photo of pad that fits:
