  1. Spiffing!
  2. Not seen that one before. 1990's tastic! 0-60 in 5.6 seconds is still good today 20 or so years on, and thats in standard trim... Love it..
  3. And I suppose there is no chance of saying they were faulty? Only 6 months old!!
  4. Fat sweaty man - Check! Missus said - 'go and enjoy sex and travel'....... f*C& $ff!!!! No need for Conzult
  5. Took the back wheels off this afternoon to investigate a strange noise....... Pass side has been rubbing on the fuel filler gaurd The tyres are 265/35/18. Are these too wide? The rims are 18-9JJ, so the question is, do I get thinner tyres like 255? adjust the plastic gaurd or fit a spacer? The annoying thing is that I have 2 front tyres on order as I wanted to match the rear :headvswal At least I spotted it though as I wouldnt want that going pop along the motorway..
  6. Ive plugged in my fanny sl%t knock sensor into the laptop and its reading 0. I have told the missus we are testing it again later :thumbup:
  7. I dont seem to be getting my car-dog S*&t quoter! Whats wrong? :confused1:
  8. I have this same issue, but only when it is in 2nd and 4th. I have checked the oil and its tip top. I had not thought about the gear stick gator being loose, and that would make sense since I have recently had the dash out and it could well have popped off.
  9. I think its quite specific for the Teins. When it sets itself up it goes through all 16 dampening positions on each shock so I doubt it would work on others that may have more or less positions. Also the motors are very specific to the type of Teins you have. Something which I found out by buying the wrong set and now have a set of motors that most likely fit a MX5 on the Ebay shelf!
  10. Ever since I had it on my Mitsy GTO ive hankered after having this feature again.
  11. My new suspension controller now fitted and working great! At the push of a button I can stiffen up the Teins and chuck it into bends then come out and cruise :scooter: Just though I would show off a bit... Worthwile investment though, love it.
  12. Changed my brake discs today and dispite finding I had bought the wrong pads, I saw the pass side front tyre was badly worn on the inside edge. I have been waiting for an excuse to get some Eagles on the front but obviously the tracking needs setting to. The car is lowered on Teins and has 18inch wheels. Can anyone tell me the optimum settings to tell my garage? Toe in, out, camber, caster? I have a fully adjustable set up. Thanks in advance!
  13. I will be there, but will pay on the gate just in case!
  14. I love my astravan super reliable, but so does my missus, which leaves me stuck driving her plastic fantastic mini!! Well done for spotting the leak though. They are fairly simple to work on, is that not a job you can have a go at?
  15. That sounds better :thumbup1:
  16. Thanks 4k for tubs are a bit rich for me, especialy as the engine has to come out, but the other mods seem worthwhile. So with some decent intercoolers, injectors and a remap what should that acheive? Is it better to keep with the side mounted items or go for a fmic?
  17. They were my thoughts. I would rather not take the engine out although new bigger tubs would be nice. What sort of money are we looking at for that? Could I get some decent gains out of better intercoolers and injectors and a remap? Also want to get a lighter flywheel and a decent clutch..
  18. Thanks for the reply already running with: adjustable upper link arms adjustable lower tension rods TEIN "Control Master" Fully adjustable shocks Tein Springs DriftWorks complete Hicas Eluminator Kit DriftWorks subframe collars CZP braded clutch line CZP Upgraded clutch pivot ball Redline MT90 Gearbox oil Redline Heavy Shockproof Diff oil R33 GTR Brembos with EBC Disks Ferrodo DS 2500 Pads Goodridge braded brake hoses CZP Brake Master Cylinder stopper Also on the shelf soon to be fitted is the Tein EDFC electronic damping controller from inside the car, so suspension will be fully adjustable when required. I feel like I have a lot of the supporting mods but need to make the next step up.
  19. I bought my TT Zed off a club member about 1 and half years ago and have enjoyed it almost daily. I have had the odd niggle but for a 21 year old car it has been great. It is quick but I would like to get a bit more reliable power out of it. This always happens with me and new cars! It has been modified a little (spec below) but I am after some advice as to how best to spend some cash on increasing the performance but maitaining the reliability? I understand that the skys the limit but I would probably be comfortable spending 2/3k.... Also what sort of power figures should I be getting at the moment? Its running about 1 bar pressure. ENGINE: K&N intake BOV's SS Headers Jim Wolf Technologies ECU SGP lightweight underdrive pulley Apexi Avc-r Boost controller Greddy timing belt Koyo Radiator Air-Con removed Aftermarket Oil cooler Polyurethane fuel and vacuum pipes EXHAUST Decatt Divorced downpipes Vailside Evolution stainless steel exhaust Help appreciated!
  20. As above, left hand side pass footwell clipped into a small bracket that everbody kicks when they sit there and the flare rolls around. I also have one in the boot with the tool kit. Not sure they would by much use after 21 years though!
