  4. OMG, it's fantastic what some people will moan about.
  5. Happy birthday buddy, many happy returns.
  6. Welcome to the forum buddy. Sounds like you will have a really nice Zed when finished. I personally would go gloss black for the roof bars, in my opinion it looks cleaner and way better. From what I have seen on the spoiler, it would look sweet with the perspex strip. But there are differing views, so what I may like, someone else may not. The best advice I would give is that if you like it, it's fine, I think most would say this as well. Take a look in my rides, I have the Navan spoiler and perspex strip with brake light.
  7. Welcome Mo, sounds like a plan for meeting up at your place in Blackpool.
  8. Oi, you should know being from my neck of the woods.....lol.....:whistling:

  14. Sorry you sold your Zed mate, but your shortie is bloody gorgeos buddy, a real credit to you.
  15. A lottery syndicate would great if someone could organise it.
  16. That's it mate, the whole family can enjoy them, and there isn't just cars attend, there are stalls where, yes you can buy car bits and pieces, but there are other stalls selling all sorts of other non car related items. Sporting Bears are usually there, ever fancied a ride in a Lambo, Ferrari, Aston or the likes, for a donation to the charity, you get a 20 minute ride out in the car of your choice, cost depends on the choice of car. They are great days out for the whole family.
  17. But i do know what people are on about when you get a low turn out at meets, really does make you feel "why bother" That is the biggest stumbling block, when you arrange everything and the ones that say they will attend do not turn up, it's then a big disappointment. The organiser then doesn't want to do the same thing again. My other club applies for the tickets to the shows, as I said it's free, but if for any reason someone then does not turn up they are charged £5.00 for the cost of their ticket, thus giving an insentive to arrive where you have said you will......lol
  18. I think this is a great idea, and we could use the fridge magnet strips to attatch to our cars, you have seen the ones for sale in seaside tourist shops, usually yellow and has something like Her4me, or the likes written on them. The only downfall with this is that members will still not know other members once they have moved away from their cars. I think we were trying to get an idea for maybe being able to identify a member by something they have on, weather it be the ID badge supplied by the club or a Tee-shirt or something of the likes. Sorry, just my thoughts on this idea.
  19. OK, I'm the stupidest forum member, when do I get my prize?........:sneaky2:
  20. I have attended 4 or 5 classic car shows this year with another car club I am a member of. Cholmondeley Castle (quite where they get the spelling from I don't know, it's actually pronounced Chumly). They have two classic car shows and the Pagent of Power each year, tickets are free to exhibitors, it only takes a REO to see when they are on and apply for tickets. The same goes for Tatton Park, 2 classic car shows per year and again tickets only need applying for. The Peak Run, a fantastic weekend and a run through some of the most spectacular scenery Britain has to offer. TSSC Derwent Valley Peak Run' This has grown so big, it was fantastic this year. At all the above shows I have only spotted 3-4 300ZX, most of them I was the only 300ZX there. I should be able to get contact details and who to apply to for tickets if anyone is interested. All that would be needed is a gazebo in case it rains, and either bring a packed lunch or your own BBQ, although Tatton Park is a two day event, so a tent to camp in would also be handy.....lol. The amount of cars that have turned out at all the above events have been brilliant, we should get a stand at them, I am willing to help anyone out with the organisation.
  21.:lol::lol::lol: Damn, you beat me to that......:asshole::whistling:
  22. Well don't keep them to yourself.....lol....:tongue_smilie:
