Remote key fobs not working in our street??
There was a story about this same thing on the news a while ago buddy, I can't remember where it was, but they had the same problem, and I am sure it was something to do with some new lampost the council had put in, don't quote me on the lapost, byt it was something that they had installed.

Cheers Chris, I really enjoyed meeting you again, and our little chats over the weekend, and I really did appreciate your generosity when you said that if you had had 99 spec rear lights you would have given me them, I am sure that you would have. I love the new back end look of yours though mate, really nice. Groover is a top bloke.

Wow, cheers Gary, didn't think anyone had noticed just how hard it was for a wheelchair user to get around the site. There is no way on this earth that I could have got to the "accessible" toilets or around the show without help, and I have used a wheelchair permenantly for over 11 years now, I have already thanked Chris (ck300z) and his friend Dave for without their help I would not have been able to go to the toilet. But my biggest thanks goes to Ian Jnr, as without him and all the help he gives me I would not be able to attend these car shows at all. I have just mentioned in another thread that next year I will transfer into a chair/another wheelchair, and there will be a prize for anyone who makes it to the accessible toilets and back under their own steam without help. I will supply the prizes for the ones that do it......lol.

My favourite quote of JAE 2011
Thanks for your kind words bud. If wit was sh*t mate, I'd be constipated.......lol. Hey mate, don't ever feel bad at laughing at me, laugh with me, someone famous can't remember who, but must have been a Scouser because he was right, once said laughter is the best medicine, I happen to believe this is true, it must be, because I came home from JAE with sore sides because I had laughed so much, but it was one if not the best weekend I have ever had. Ha Ha, you got the musical chairs joke.......pmsl. Cheers Andy, he is mainly a good lad, but if he is annoying you, just tell him mate, he (or I) will not be offended in any way shape or form if you tell him to bugger off and give you a break........lmao. Not quite true buddy, I was still able to get around on crutches until my second operation on my spine, which was 2000 years ago......oops sorry, in the year 2000. So he has seen me walk albeit on crutches. I would NEVER, and I mean NEVER be able to do half the things I do if it wasn't for all the things he does for me, and he never complains about it. But he hasn't known me without my disability, and sometimes I regret that, because I would love to still be a paramedic and give my kids something to be proud of. Ian Jnr and Yvonne his sister have put themselves into wheelchairs in order to play wheelchair handball, when I was a little fitter, they have grown up with disability, so do not see it as a disadvantage. They get the pee taken out them by other kids because I use a wheelchair, but at the end of the day, kids are cruel, and I bet they both give back as good as they get. In fact, next year, I will transfer into a chair, and there will be a prize for anyone who gets into my wheelchair and under their own steam makes it from where we were on our stand to the accessible toilets and back unaided. That will be such a scream, because I bet a lot of people would think it easy, and imagine trying it drunk!!!! I think the weekend was so exciting for him (without making excuses), he was a little overwhelmed with his two favourite things, meeting new friends like yourself, and cars, both very passionate things for him. He also made the comment to me that he is so proud to be your friend because you treat him like an adult, which he respects. Is Steve on Facebook mate? If he is would you mind asking him if Ian can add him as a friend too please, you Steve and Pabs were his heroes over last weekend mate. Mate, I for one cannot wait for JAE 2012, I know we will do more laughing, and if it turns out to be anything like this year, we for 2 will be over the moon, goin g to try and some way bring my missus and Yvonne Ian's sister. Thanks mate

My favourite quote of JAE 2011
Can I just add guys that I was in the marquee with my son, I don't remember there being any comments that were very offensive in regards to minority groups or other things, I am very protective of my son (and my daughter) but she wasn't there, if I had thought the conversation was too bad for him to be present at, I would have taken him out the situation. I do however have a hearing loss, so maybe didn't catch some of what was being said. I do think the swearing could have been toned down a little, and did at one point say to Ian Jnr, "I am glad your mum and sister didn't attend with us", but that was just a load of drunken blokes having a laugh. I have told Jnr that he is going to hear things like this in school and elsewhere, and I know he is going to use bad language with his mates, come on we all did because we all thought it was big at the time, but believe me, he knows he doesn't use it to other people family or friends where he can be heard by me or his mum and sister or anyone else for that matter, it stays on the playground, he is almost 16 any how, so will be able to make his own mind up in regards to these things. If anyone has heard him say or do anything offensive, please let me know, and I can have a chat with him and tell him he was out of line. I AM IN NO WAY OFFENDED BY JOKES ABOUT DISABILITY. Some disabled people need to wake up, they are disabled, so what, get on with it, your still here, lighten up, just learn to be quick and give as good as you get back.......lol. The fact that I was injured in an ambulance is funny as fook, and most people laugh not believing it at first. I am to blame for a lot myself, I always tell people that I went from paramedic to paraplegic in one easy step......forgive the step pun.......lol. I have heard nothing over the weekend that would make me say "right, I won't be going to JAE next year". Although I realise that some have been offended and I respect their points of view.

I pesonally have no objection to Jason being allowed to put the Beast in the marque, however, the ground was uneven and slanting, I was really worried squeezing past it in my wheelchair, both on the way in and on the way out, I would hate to do any damage to anyone's car/cars, I would feel so bad about it if I did, so maybe a seperate gazebo for Jason's car would be a good thing to stop my wide ass vehicle doing any damage......lol. Sorry Vods this isn't really an improvement idea, but is a sensible one.
