  8. Think he is in Bristol which is too far as I am in alnwick Northumberland, After years of doing work myself on car I have no idea of current good hourly rates for garages, just don't mind paying but dont want ripping off. Many thanks though bones28
  9. I have had sump off in situ, just took off few items and slackened subframe and tilt it and sump came out ok. I did timing belt so all cover bolts are new took 3 hours start to finish I estimate about ten hours for lot . Got bad back now so was looking to get someone to do it for me, not sure what good price is !!
  10. Sorry should have read Engine oil pump
  11. Hi Guys, does anybody know ball park cost figure for fitting only of a oil pump ?
  12. Electrically speaking Live 12v comes from FUSEBOARD to RED wire pin3 This will trigger coil to set timer in motion which should feed live 12v to either light green OR blue depending whether you are locking or unlocking. Light green and blue are your feed to passenger side L/G and L Side note though on my spare colours on passenger side are green and yellow !!!!! So you should have on driver side 12v on red, 0v on black(negative), and switched 12v on light green OR blue(yellow). Passenger side 12v on green or blue(yellow) Regards
  13. Hi, when I fitted my aftermarket alarm I had to connect new actuator to existing linkage in drivers door, if all links are ok in driver door look at linkage in passenger door , the coloured links are made of plastic which become brittle and snap !!! The small black one which links electric to mechanical is probably worth double checking on passenger side. If after checking you need one CZP sell metal upgrade products for these. Hope this helps you. George B
  14. Hope this helps EL (1).pdf
  15. Circuit diagram shows LG/B and p Light green being one from fusebox Pink goes to switch Most positives look like being light green/b all over the car ,
  16. This is what pipe looks like , note rubber end , this goes through hole into wing gap. Near side indicator. No longer available from Nissan.
  17. When I looked at mine the wires to front are attached to the bumper. I wonder if these got pulled and stretched whilst removing bumper! I would now advise you check rh indicator take bulb out , take bulb out of side , put meter on continuity and test between cenre of front to centre of side, there should be full continuity this will prove whether you have broken wire. Do same on rh indicator. Chin up it will get sorted.
  18. It might be the connectors are not mating properly , but would have to be both at front not one! Paul , did you do anything to the wires when swapping bumper by chance?
  19. Yes, very odd things going on in Paul's car. I'm curious for the answer for sure. Both sides are SEPARATE which confuses me .seems like 2 faults .
  20. Somewhere you must have broken 2 wires , just a quick question though are your bulbs 12v 21w ? Because they work on load hence if one bulb goes out fast flash but wrong size bulbs will do same . Just a thought
  21. Just opened my indicators and basically it is the green wire you cut and join between side and front. Good luck
  22. You should cut on indicator side of plug and socket power off.
  23. Should be straight forward only one wire needed . Go to side indicator there are two wires one will show 12v when you put hazards on . Cut that wire join another wire to both ends like T piece insulate. Then at indicator end do same. Find the 12v feed wire (the other one is earth.) Cut and join light side wire to your new wire. Remember to insulate the harness side of wire you have just cut. Make sure you have good joints, soldering iron works best.and heat shrink. Test if all well do same on other side.
  24. Sorry Paul , when I said rewire I meant side indicator not side light, You could just try one live wire from side indicator to front indicator,if earth is good it will work.
  25. Looking where you are now I would just rewire from side light to front only two wires either side. easier than ripping loom apart, unless you find something obvious.
