  4. Just wondering which would be a good budget buy for now. I dont really have a need for it for the z but for the elgrand for now. I was thinking of buying the consult ll off ebay just to read and clear codes for the elgrand but after reading a few reviews seems like its a trial version. Has anyone used the NDS ANdroid and is it any good? Considering which to get as I would like to be able to run checks myself. Nothing is coming up for conzult. Would I be able to use the free conzult with the folowing http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-14-Pin-Consult-II-OBD-DDL-Mini-USB-Diagnostics-Tool-For-Nissan-Z32-1989-2000-/281595813506?hash=item41906b1e82:g:128AAOSwBahVeR5N All this is new to me so any advice will be much appreciated Thanks

  7. Personally none but would go for the legally smallest size possible
  8. Thanks dude almost there They might just be yours!! Can get a genuine copy of anything!! I still like the bumper that was on it, cant remember what it is but just wanted a change a little new with old. Removing the the bumper is easy so long you have the right tools, I didn't and took me almost two hours to remove one bolt that's accessed from the side light!! Anyone who saw would've probably thought I was frozen in a break dance pose lol. A hell of a lot quicker with both front tires removed. Id say about half n hour including removing the tires. For me was, one inside each wheel arch, one beneath side head lights (access from side light) and 4 under the nose panel. Mine didn't have no bracket on the sides so will be different for each car I guess. Plenty of tutorials here and online for removing the front bumper.
  9. some more pics :shuriken: the state of that
  10. Fired up the first time with new battery, drove her around the yard and back into its shed. Now just need to fix the damage, full respray, smic or fmic (which are most recommended?) and a remap and we good :punk:
  11. Hey hey hows everyone doing, haven't been posting much so figured a quick update is in order. Had her parked up at a yard I'm renting for the past 7 months. Since then the battery has been flat and removed. No more costco battery for me. Seems the S4 can only last 13 months and even though at 75 quid I had to pay the renewal fee (twice) to just get it exchanged. Good bye costco hello varta 4 years warranty. Fitted the 99 spec bumper and the nose panel I purchased a while ago. Also some greddy side skirts for visuals. Also removed some dead weight. Wasn't easy removing or fitting the bumper without the correct tools. Didn't have my tool kit and didn't want to around borrowing some. Pain in the culo!!! Happy to see no surprises of damages, repairs or rust etc Happy days!!
  12. It wouldnt make a difference if the shape is different as long as the connector is correct ie 3 pin right? Thanks Jeff :thumbup1:
  13. Hi I have a 2000 Elgrand VQ35DE 4x4 as some of you may know. I need to know if the following part number for the ignition coils are the same. Both parts come under the same engine variant but there's no real confirmation for use for my car or any other specifications. 22448 8J115 (8J1C) Hitachi part number HEX EXA 2409N 22448 AL615 (AL61C) Hitachi part number HEX EXA 3103N Dealers are no help already rang them and they only told me the above two part numbers changed. original part number is 22448 4W011 Hitachi part number HEX EXM 2854. Would I be able to get one of the above as a replacement. Thanks
  14. I feel for you dude and glad to know your ok. But it's a shame that people have no respect for anything else besides themselves. Good thing is atleast you caught the pinche maricone. I know how it feels even though my car wasn't a show car it still hurts beyond feeling which is a good thing in a way because you remain positive/optimistic about getting it fixed or replaced amd not emotionally in a state of anger. Depending on the extent of the damage you could get it fixed yourself and claim the cost back from the insurance which will save it from being categorized or written off. As in my case but it will be going as a claim against my insurance as no one was ever found which is another puta to deal with. As for the door. Try opening it from the inside. 8/10 times it usually works. If not lift the door handle with force from the outside. Mine wouldn't open from the outside and had to use force and pry it open them had to hamme the sill back as it was wedged into the door. Then after adjusting the internal parts got it to open from the outside again. Don't know why but a hit even not directly to the door always causes the door to not open from the outside. Not sure if anyone else has had this issue. All the best pal. Sent from the dark side
  15. As per title. Must be rust free. Any colour. Including sill and door sill. Ill get some pictures of of that. Thanks
  16. Hey all after enjoying the weather for the past few day I figured I'd fix the issues with the drivers door after the hit and run. Window wouldnt go down and door wouldn't open from the outside. Both have now been fixed yay! however the door wont close properly now. Its as if someone has been pulling the top part outwards. There is a noticeable gap between the door glass and the tagra rubber when shut. Ive tried to adjust both the stopper/striker/latches top part on door and body and even tried to adjust the latch but nothing. I stripped the door card and removed the seat belt completely to get my hand in the little gaps Any ideas? I have a replacement door but for now its going to stay this way. Thanks compadres
  17. wide arch!! subtle wide arch
  18. I was wondering why I couldn't post in the classifieds, man how fast time goes by! Payment made via bank transfer.
  19. I was wondering why I couldn't post in classifieds! Another year gone by so quick.
  20. Saw your zx, took a few snaps  Thanks, can't say Ill miss it when I'm gone!
  21. Hows it going all. Been meaning to come on here but just haven't gotten the chance until now! I've been back for a week now and and I'll be gone by next week. Before I left I had dropped my zx for a few jobs which included a new engine harness, oil leak, irregular idle, clutch booster, heater matrix, replaced plenum, braided fuel lines, tune up and a fair few other bits and bobs including completed deletes. I picked her up last week from Lee (thanks bud) and she's running hellova lot better!! A lot more solid knowing that everything is how it should be!! Will put some pictures up of the engine when the weather can hold. Hopefully will be dropping her off (BodyMech c u monday :whistling:) to fit the 99spec front bumper, greddy side skirts along with the drivers door and a couple of nose panels and stock hood which will have her back as new!! Just out of curiosity is it possible to increase the bhp +66 from stock without a chipped edu? Any who its good to be back but not liking the cold weather!! Over and out.
  22. Lol In touch now. Thanks guys
  23. trying to get hold of you Lee. I've messaged you both on the forum and on your number. Kindly get back to me thanks.
  24. Thanks dude. Off to Kobar or the natural springs tomorrow. From what I hear it's nice and will be going to Bahrain for New Years so that should be fun. Haven't been around Riyadh was just there for the night but will be visiting it next week hopefully!!
  25. Sorry for the bad grammar but was on my phone and trying to post between wifi connections!! Gas is dirt cheap and I mean cheap. £3.50 for a full tank of gas on a normal sedan!! :death: It isn't that hot to be honest it's probably because of the time of the year but I did sweat from walking for about 45 minutes trying to find my apartment lol Definitely is by far, feels good to have uninterrupted rays of sun on my skin!! Thanks pal English. The students are ok and fun to have a joke around with. Cars guns and football is there thing and one student already found me a 350z to buy lol lol all I've been hearing last night is the sound of v8's burning up the street!! My students have mentioned a few places where they drift, do burn outs etc but its getting there is the problem!! There are very taxis here and everything is spaced out and is driving distance!!
