regarding the egr would the gaskets needs replacing if i choose not to by pass it?

manchester area, specifically hathershaw. there really arent any zs around here tbh i can say two on the rare full blue moon

so ive finally decided to replace the rocker gasket and i have already ordered the plenum, throttle body, half circle gasket and o rings. im guessing that was all haven't received them yet could be more. id like to know what else i may/should/would and could replace while im at it. regarding gaskets and potential leaks and other general maintenance. muchos gracias :rockon: :2guns:

Hi all , ive just bought my second 300zx but my first tt, i have a few issues nothing major i hope, its a jap import and after driving mostly harshly, after when parked it starts to smoke like no tomorrow. i know its a definite oil leak and most likely from the rocker cover. not too sure if there is a leak from anywhere else havent checked from underneath. i've read something about plenum and haven't a clue what it is? help..... :surrender: i did turn the boost controller up to 40 and driven the car but its hasn't really given much issue with the smoke? ,i dont know how to use the boost con yet setting wise manual is in dam Japanese and air controller..... dont know what setting to use etc.... so a crash course in that would be nice..... :cowboy: so my question is there someone recommendable to take to somewhere in or arround manchester? i need my arm and leg to drive so someone who will appropriately charge a reasonable amount. :flowers: i do need a right rear shock absorber, which should i get? would like a stiffer suspension rear and front, suggestions? advice, help, all appreciated...... thanks was trying to keep it short lol :rockon:

oh quick question where can i get insurance for the z? was told its classified and a classic, tried the banner on home page but not got no response, done it twice.... need to insure it before its gets taken off me for driving without being insured..... my foot is twitching like thumper....

thank you all..... i have shed a tear of happiness!!! lol i could probably find you parts for a trams am..year? parts? inbox me... i was yay close to buying a 5.0L V8 manual with flow masters.... love the way they sound but for the second time i ended up buying the zx...... before i bought my na i gave a deposit for the same car in the states lol but the dumbass sales man sold it to a lady!! so ended up buy the na :D i could actually source zx parts from the states if the pound value goes up!! might work a bit cheaper will work on getting some pics up..... nice meeting all yall..... thanks for the warm welcome....

hows it going everone, pleasure to be here!! i have just recently acquired a 91 300zx tt manual 2+2 import. with a few mods. however this isnt my first fairlady, i still own a 1990 300zx na manual swb back in the states, im a yank!!v :cowboy::2guns: both cars are awsomne, i bought the na back in 2001 and have driven her literally to death, :crying: my fault, first car, i was pedal happy!! it was completely stock with a k&n air filter. i later added a 4" single mufflers on each side, not the best decision. anywhooooo i really love these cars..... i have driven many other cars and non have satisfied my desire the way a 300zx does... back the the import it is pretty much exactly what i wanted minus leathers and the bad bits!! but i will enquire about them in a different post... it has 18" alloy rims, electronic boost control, electronic air control, boost gauge (i think), stainless steel exhaust, dump vales and an after market air filter and front bumper, ill and get some pics up to share......once i figure it out oh by the way my name is prince originally from chicago :punk:now relocated to manchester!!! been here for 7 months and been looking for a zx for almost 5 months now, i dont know why i didnt think of joining here first.... duh only occurred till after i bought the z... loll
