  2. anybody have any clue what that wire is for?or was for?it looks like its going in the back part of the upper dash but it was tucked beneath the speedo and is coming from the bottom dash somewhere, not very clear pics but maybe someone will notice. ill try and get the new clock in by tomorrow :D and post results!

  4. okie dokie, thank you both for the help!!
  5. shall i leave it there and just connect the new speedo or do i have to completely remove it?
  6. as title, ive decided to swap the clocks out and after finding to my surprise found cracked and broken pod bits, a cut wire that leads into the dash :l ive managed to strip it out with no problems and found this little black box attached to the back of the speedo im guessing its got something to do with the speedo being calibrated to mph? the speedo has black tape over the k on the km/h. my questions are; is that correct? shall i cut it off and install the uk speedo? do i connect it back up with the uk clock and finally leave it as is and reconnect the speedo without connecting the little black box? also is there anything else i should know while i have her face apart? or anything else i can do? muchos gracias compadres :alucard:
  7. can never tell if mileage is genuine or not especially with an import your best asking for the bimta certificate which comes with when the car was imported but even then you cant be 100% sure if it has been clocked back from where it came from prior to import and the same goes for here,
  8. im pretty sure it locks it even with ignition on when the button is pressed.. i could be wrong but to make sure ill give it a check, cheers

  11. ye the fob is disconnected on mines to thinking maybe to get it connected and working as it would be alot easier to just make contact then locking and unlocking it, imagine if i was the getaway driver and my pals jump in rug sacks full of cash and theyre screaming at me go go go, ill have say wait!! let me lock and unlock the car real quick..... lol
  12. yea but then when i take my tops or if i just adjust my fat ass in the seat its annoying when i start it acting all bad ass and then it cuts off.... makes it look like its bloken!! as my lil one once said. can i adjust the timer? or something

  15. I have about a minute to fire the beast up once ive unlocked it with the remote. if i dont it will start and cut off. then i have to lock it....... wait...... unlock it and then start it..... gets annoying after a bit, it says, auto watch advanced security systems on the back of the small fob. heres the pic of the key

  18. dont think dvla would give a wrong reg however since they are all closing down i dont see why it wouldn't happen!, anyway when importers import a car lets say it was manufactured in 2000 and its was imported in 2012, sellers will sell it as registered 2012. which is when it was imported/registered. along with no previous owner, first uk owners etc etc so if its a 92 and imported in 98 thats what hes prob claiming, cars like that dont need selling points ;) first to see will buy! wow! omg!! they sell themselves.... i do like the lambo doors however ;)
  19. went on sat but unfortunately had to leave early due to an emergency and wasn't able to come back sun, was nice meeting you bobgenie I have a picture of you on the pod start!was looking forward to meeting the rest of the crew and cars! Hopefully next time
