Thanks pal. If I don't do it no one else will!! Cant even depend on the cops. Could buy it back depending on the insurance company. Cousin had his carrera turbo written off by his insurance and he was able to buy it back and the damage was significant. Not entirely sure what class it would be tbh. Claiming form my own insurance will be the last resort as I know they will just fob me off. Will be going through the mib as there isn't specific mention of cars being classified as cat c or d after repair nor refuse to pay out, as far as I know from what I've read. I could be wrong but will find out when it boils down to it. Oh btw I rang up the police station and spoke to a lady who was coincidently dealing with my case in the morning. She said it hadn't been reported (whatever that means) so she will take the reg. Once she had it she kindly notified me that because it is not a UK registered car they cant do anything about it and that interpol would have to get involved and pursue it with scotland followed by ''it wouldn't happen as it is a minor case'' She did say that my insurance can do something about it. So lets see what my insurance says! I had the car checked out but I'm not entirely convinced that ''its fine.'' Any suggestions what to be looking for? To me everything looks slightly bent lol.

Just a quick update, I've found http://mib.org.uk/Home/en/default.htm which will basically will pay out for the cost of the repair. Rather then claiming against my own insurance! Its for instance like this and for those that do not have insurance and are at fault etc even includes property damage. So will be going through with this if cant get hold of the fuqqah who damaged my car. As for the pendejo, my brother in law spotted the exact same can in the area and got his plates. Shows up as black 3 door megane!! Another trip to the five o tomorrow. Also Ill be sourcing parts for my car to get it done quicker when time comes. Any recommendations for a reputable body repair shop? Thanks

Insures with Dean and grove. Do not have an agreed price apart from when they ask the value of car. Haven't got it checked yet need to hammer the inner arch as it's best amd touching the tire. Will have it checked in the next couple of days. Just checked mot expired!!! Need that doing pronto.

Fourth picture shows crack in sill. From the crack backwards to rear tire sill is pushed in completely. Definitely damaged. Showed these pictures to one body shop just to get a guess on what the cost of repair would be and he scared me by saying the insurance company would right it off :no: What is the right way to have this repaired. Door replaced of course but what about the rear quarter and sill? hammer it out or cut and replace? Would most likely loose the original grainy texture on the sill wont I? Spoke to my insurance company and was advised that if I don't hear anything from the police by Friday the latest then call them back and they will get the ball going with the claim. I don't know but they seem eager to proceed with the claim as in me claiming from my own insurance. They also said to pass the registration to the police as it may be possible that it is not the correct one and they will be able to verify it. Argh starting to loose my cool now :censored: Should have said it was a known drug lord and that would've got them shifting their asses into gear!! Good idea will be driving round the body shops, did ring most of them but can tell they didn't really give a shit

Been to the police station and gave them everything that I have. They said it will be 2 -3 weeks before they start the investigation!! Ye was thinking that let's see what happens they will be sending the footage off to their traffic department in Eccles

Been messing around with magic focus which is suppose to focus on blurry images even has motion blur. But think I've just over done it between photoshop and that. Will be heading to the po po with what I have and see what they have to offer or say

Thanks guys I appreciate all support, means alot. Man now I know why the cops cant give two shits doing this. Spent all day dicking around trying to get the footage to my usb. After many failed attempts including the dvr not reading the 1tb hard drive figured out that 10 hours of footage equalled 3.90GB of data so had to transfer al that from usb stick to laptop to hard drive. So today was a couch potato going through the first 7 hours and managed to catch the car driving past during the day can clearly see the car but still cant make out the number plate. was told its an irish number plate, any ideas fellas? Few images of what i have. Any recommendations on who I can approach to clear the images up?

Got the footage from the cameras spent majority of the day in one house figuring out how to use the dvr and record it to the usb. Definitely a black megane not the latest shape but the one before. My luck though on both separate cctvc across the road from me both show my car getting rammed into but cant even see the reg from the blur of the lights. Hoping the third house caught something I did see the similar car a hour before the crash on the cctv so will be going back with my 1tb hdd and copy the full day footage. I have offered 200 quid as reward but maybe need to up it to 500 tbut if no one talks then going to have to resort to intimidation. Been told its a local shotter and sells around the area but lives somewhere else but its literally on the other side of the park. Will see how it pans out the next few days, someone defo knows something but aren't talking How can I upload the video clip?

Today been to three houses that have cameras and only one was helpful enough and said to come back at four. Been told that the car went up a street parallel to mine which also has a shop but nothing on the cameras. Found out its a new shape renault megane. Looks worse now in the day light!!The impact shoved the car into the curb and pushed it forward curbing both front and back passenger alloys! Went out for a smoke and people are stopping and are gutted as much as I am. One guy said lets find out who it was and lets beat the shit outta of them! lol Any ideas how to get the door open. Would I have to cut the door from the outside etc to release it?

Thanks guys, I was told where the car sped off etc and drove around even pulled a car over thinking it was the perp but it wasn't, I scared the poor dude. Found 4 cars but wasn't the one. Rang the police straight away and all I got told was they will send out a pack for me to fill in and for me to send it back with names of witnesses, details etc and that they have police in the area looking. Hopefully will get to the bottom of it. Just unbelievable of all places to hit the zx they hit hit the worst possible place. I know the local breakers and body shops so should be able to get some info on it. Notified local friends and family so should be getting answers sooner then the police. Only just got her insured!!! I know the lads defo know something but they are not saying anything, yet!

So two and a half hours ago whilst I thought I was about to get lucky I hear a loud bang and my alarm going off. Looked outside the window butt nekked and saw a car facing my zx. Quickly got dressed and out and was greated by a group of young lads who said my cars just been hit and the other car sped off. Walked around to the driver side and my heart skipped a beat. The shop across the road has cameras and shows the car driving down and straight into my car. Unfortunately can't read/see the plate. Of the 7 lads not one has managed to get the reg yet saw everything. Ontop of that only one is willing to give a statement who lives down the street from me. The arch is touching the tire and the door won't open. Right now don't think it's completely sank in as I'm feeling emotionless. I think I'm handling the situation quite well for now. :( Will get a copy of the footage and post it up maybe someone good with editing videos can work their forensic magic
