  2. they were on there solid but a long bar and a lot of force trying to losen them and they just snapped
  3. so i've finally got round to fitting rear camber arms on the zed, one question though the kit came with no instructions, but i had 4 long bolts, 4 washers and nylock nuts with the kit were these intended to replace the eccentric bolts on the inner of the arm?, thats where i've fitted them as both eccentric bolts snapped off trying to undo them.
  4. this will be my pooch Rosco had him as a rescue when he was 7 months old hes roughly 3 1/2 now but in every way still a mad collie
  5. well not been on much lately as i have a new daily drive and been spending sometime with that, and nearly forgot to mot the zed!! anyway took her in today and she passed with flying colour's again so that's me sorted for another year!!
  6. yes lamp is in correctly and feels firm when cold but after a few mins use, the beams seem to shudder left to right, prob not a lot at the bulb bit when projected looks a lot worse, i thought maybe as the lamps have a plastic surround it could be that but no signs of any melting.
  7. anyone with hid's had this when driving or parked you can see lamps moving from side to side slightly after they have been running for a few mins. any easy way to fix it? Cheers all
  8. Cool first time I've logged into a forum, damn apple lol

  11. all things i can look at cheers for the help guys
  12. it's a challenge to get anyone older than 12 to sit in the back of a zed lol
  13. i dont think the rear wiper gromit helped it much as that used to pool on the inner plastic trim and used to flood out when i opened the tailgate
  14. i do park on a very slight gradient with the frond end up but not enough for the water to flow over where the height difference where these puddles are passenger side had slightly more water than the drivers side, definetly clean/rain water did drive the car yesterday so could be from boot area but that looks dry, although rear window does suffer with a huge amount of droplets of water on the inside of the screen, i get it on the windscreen too but not as bad
  15. well i took my rear seat out today to find i have a couple of small puddles of water under the rear seat no idea how the got there or where from so looking for and ideas on this, i did have a leak around the rear wiper because the seal rubber was worn and not sealing correctly, i fixed that today but can't see that causing water to get under the rear seats, i do have a very slight targa leak but thats onto the fron seat
  16. water bypass removes all the small waterpipes on the bottom of the plenum total pain in the arse if they leak as plenum would have to come off to replace them, they run to the throttle bodies to warm them up in cold weather but we don't need that in the uk as it dosent get cold enough, egr bypass some say it improves emissions at mot time plus if you ever have to remove the plenum again it makes the job a whole lot easier
  17. well the obvious problems are damaged/brittle connectors which may break on removal, corroded pins in the connectors, but saying that you can easily do a plenum water bypass and egr removal once it's off
  18. thanks mark that saves a lot of messing about stripping the boot out
  19. i've just bought some rear camber arms for the zed am i right in thinking that i need to strip the boot panels out and completly drop the rear springs & shocks to fit them?
  20. will depend on which day for me as busy with xmas party gigs
