sounds like safty boost also i think the vts solonoids retard the valve timing around 5500 could be worth checking those out

if you have pressure in your cooling system i would guess your head gasket is blown also check for white sludge around the oil cap and oily deposits in the water,also white smoke is a give away and with the rad cap off when you rev the engine it will push the water out of the system

spotted a black z today around 1ish on the a48 not far minsterworth flashed ur lights at me i did see u was just surprised to see yet another z in the area

could be one of a few things pcv valve,turbo oil seal which is most likely or may need a oil change mine smoked changed oil now its ok

hi dave a nissan deaeler would stock or could get them they are there to protect the paint work and get rid of any noise that may result from the strutt moving i would replace them funny u say ur doing ur suspension i'm picking my springs up this weekend let me know how it goes
