  4. i used a silicone mastic/adhesive to fix fine no probs so far
  5. yes you do have to cut away the centre mounting for the stock lights and also a little cutting on the outer edges for the lights to fit but other than that the only other mod is if you smooth the area over the boot lock you need to remove the boot lock other than that you just need to convert the wiring to the new lights i fitted mine in about 2 hours
  6. dont do it you'll regret it lol but i would change the insurance to a classic car policy thats less than 300 quid a year the u can still come for a beer with us lot lol

  11. moine is manual and find that fun to drive but i must say a z under 3 grand you'll be hard pushed to find a really good one,pay that price and you will need to spend a few quid on it. i bought mine for 3 grand came to the first mot and rear end of the sills and the inner sill panels needed doing, rear ball joints,1 rear track control arm and those bits alone were a few hundred pounds not to mention other small problems where things had been bodged up to keep the car going, you will see a few z's on ebay but take to to look at them and try them out first as there must be a reason they are on there in the first place

  23. i'm not 100% sure but that ring with the slots in is to do with the hicas (rear wheel steering) it basically tells the rear wheels to turn, i cant remember which trader it is but there is a special steering wheel boss kit to keep the hicas and cruise control working and they are £95+vat from memory hope this helps kev
