the only way to get r12 gas re-done is to get a drop in replacement r12 is illegal to use now and all auto a/c engineers do a retro fit to put r13a gas in but the conversion and refill runs out at around £100+ the vodka and tonic

even better than houghtons i found carole nash i have a uk t/t with them on 6000 miles a year and a mate of mine has a jap t/t again 6000 miles and we are both paying £256 per year fully comp

if you have one of the boot .dll files missing u can put in your windows xp disc and do a repair to the system, were any of the files you lost made private to your log on? if so u cant read them from another pc, my tip for the future partition the drive 10gb for windows and store eveything else on the remaining space atb kev

if your only hitting plus 7 on the turbo gauge sounds like safty boost shame u never said sunday i could have put my datascan on yours and checked it for you i had boost probs and it turned out the det sensor/vts wires were reversed also if i tapped my gauge it went down as it was sticking in same place

i think thats something to do with the aiv system if the car ticks over with it disconnected check for a vac leak
