Cheers bud, any time. I will have a look in the van tomorrow and see if i have the BNC/Phono connector 4 ya. was well supprised with the size of split in that pipe, how did it ever boost, what i think would be a good thing to do is to replace them silly spring clips with propper jublie clips on that pipe. If you can get around during the week i will set the timming for ya to wot it suppose to be.

throttle position sensor, you need a volt meter to measure the volts across two of the cables,and adjust the sensor to get the correct voltage 0.5v i think ? but i cant remember wot ones, can anyone help?

aaronjb, you are god???? i checked the solonoid connector feed cable (from ECU) and i didnt have a ground at all, BUT I DID HAVE THE 12 VOLTS? so i cut the ground cable and connected it to a good earth ......and bobs your aunty, it works, i'm back to 14 psi. Now the question is do i leave it wired to the ground, or do i run a new cable back to the ecu? Wot do you recomend m8, also were can i find the diagram for the ecu numbering and identification, i have tried the search, but cant find it ? Hi pat, i dont have any m8, got stainless decats and divorced down pipes, and thanks for that part the other day m8, sorted the warning light out :hyper: Thanks

That was my first impression...big boost leak somewere, but only a small one at the back of the balance bar, but i have replaced that pipe now so no leaks that i can hear, and i would av thought that it would be a big leak to lose that much pressure?

hi mark, i made the boost leak detector, it works a dream m8, but no leaks to blame the fault on...bugger...am running out of things to check m8, cos i know the tubs are ok, it was only 3 weeks ago i was spinning them around in my hands, it might be the connectors to the waste gate valves. But did you say that you have dissconnected yours, and your boost was fine?

i,m now getting in more of a muckin fuddle, i thought that if you dissconnected the waste gate solenoid connectors it helps you to get boost? but what you are saying is the opposite, so when i use the go faster peddle there should be 12v @ the connectors feeding the waste gate valves (the black ones each side of the plenium),i will check that tomorrow. I cant see that both tubs have gone west at the same time or the actuators as well, cos one day the car was perfect and the next day only 5psi. Has it been known for the ecu to pack up and cause the same probs, or is there a fuse link that controls that side of things??? Thanks

I am running out of ideas, i think my car is running in safety boost mode as it wont go above 5 psi ? , I have a code 55, so all is clear, i have reset the ecu again today but still no joy, 5psi?. I have checked the det sensor and there was nothing wrong with it, but to be on the safe side i done the resistor trick, still only 5 psi. I have disconnected the waste gate control solenoids, still no good, i have checked the engine water temp sensor and that works (fan works on/off with temp rise and fall). I made a pressure tester to blow up my engine, no leaks anywere so i'm running out of ideas as what to check next????? So has anyone got any ideas . HELP :wack:

Can alarm interfere with the power supply for AVC-R???
I have just looked at the wiring diagram,tomorrow i will put a multi meter on the ECU to see if the pin we wired it to is permanent live ?

if i remember correctly steve its wired to the ignition switch that feeds the ecu, so its not got a permanent live feed, it was wired as per instructions ???

Well after a day of checking everything i can possibly point my multi meter at, i still cant find whats causing the warning on the dash to stay on, the only thing left is a unit in the boot next to the offside light cluster, i think its the stop and tail light sensor,but when i look at the wiring diagram it only shows 1 sensing wire comming from it, but mine has about 8 or so, if i unplug it none of the rear light work and the light on the dash still stays on? And have noticed tonight that the battery light on the dash is glowing but not bright its very dull (just like me).???? Help. I still cant find the fuse or relay that controls the standard boost guage cos that still aint working. So is there a fuse just for this???? Its still running in saftey boost mode, and the ECU say's all is clear, so wot the fook is going on? :wack: Also today i have replaced all the Injector connectors (they were well green with corrosion), and now the car is ticking over at 1100 rpm, but runs very smooth and sweet, but no fooking boost, only 6/7psi (on my extra boost guage). so come on guys the jokes over, i have sufferd today, i have hands that would look better if i stuck them in a meat mincer. Help

Thats wot i dont understand, i have checked every fuse that i can find, even the lot near the go fast peddal (in my case not very fast) ? Has anyone got a hand book to see what the light means.

Mine's the same ant, they just hate this weather m8, and i have a stupid warning on the dash saying LIGHTS, but i cant find anything wrong????? Will call u later ant .
