Anybody got a divorced one?

Hi guys, Just wondering, this is for the new system I have bought in bits.... I have the divorced downpipes, the decats and the rear backboxes... I'm sure there is a piece missing in the middle where the original H pipe goes, what would go there with the new system as I gather the old H pipe is back to 2" from the going to be new 2.5"??? :helpsmilie:

No, no downpipes, that was the bit that was confusing me. Thought I needed them? Bit of a dark area when coming to do an exhaust, there's too much vague literature out there and if people selling things don't get things listed right, then you're left to believe the wrong info lol Oh well, thanks Steams 'n' Yowser ;-)

ok, I have graphite faced or something with copper rings around the water ways, looks like some kind of metal ring around the bore bits.

Excellent news, thanks Jimmer, you're a star. My mechanic gave me some good news last night when the heads come off; it's definitely done low millage by looking at the coke, valve seating, cam seats and says there is absolutely no lip on the top of the bores. It does have a really weird firing order I see, but I guess that's just V6 for you and something to do with balance once it's running?

Hi guys, Need some advice yet again! lol OK, first things first, my engine is on a stand stripped down, it's been sitting for 3 years and my mechanic suggests new head gaskets... I have the complete gasket kit, but I want to run up to around 400bhp with a boost controller after. Do I need a metal gasket with arp head bolts or can the standard new gasket take that with a set of new bolts??? Thanks a lot peeps.

What hanger brackets? There seems to be two sets, the one with the flanges or the ones that unbolt where one rubber goes on each side. Won't I need them for the new exhausts?

I got the standard boxes off Groover... the 2" flange is not lining up with the holes on the new 2.5" backboxes ='0( Do I need the downpipe all the way from the turbos back?

HORRAAAAAHH!! I got them all off, the 4 rear and 2 front rubber's bolts (the easy bit) and the 4 PITA exhaust flange bolts all without heat!! I think the wd40 soaked in overnight plus I managed to borrow a breaker bar as you guys recommended, was only able to do one with the breaker bar as I only had a little room under the car grrrrr... anyway, managed to put my foot on the wheel the other side and pulled with both arms and it let go... the other side I managed to get a 17mm spanner on it and get a 4lb club hammer and it come off lol... well happy... Just need a 2.5" down pipe from somewhere as the standard 2" flange is not lining up with the holes on the 2.5" backs ='0( Do I need the downpipe all the way from the turbos back or just from before the cat??? I'm lost now lol ALL THAT WORK! =0)
