  1. Yeah, that's exactly the same leather I bought from Dunelm Mill, they wrapped it in cellophane. Was a massive sheet... Still got loads. Does the black ok with the blue? What adhesive spray did you use? I used bostick/evostick floor adhesive on my targa top panels.
  2. That's good, much appreciated bud, easier than I expected. Will work on this tonight. ;-)
  3. Hi guys, Can anybody help me before I do the wrong thing and wreck my interior. Could you tell me step by step how to get the panels out that go over the rear arches that sit under the rear passenger windows They sit between the seats and the side of the car, they are curvy looking. I need them reupholstered as they have seen better days. Thanks
  4. Leo, contacted Steve and he said the following... Will email Mr. Dixon next, see what he says. Anthony to get the power up to a safe and comfortable 350-380hp you would DEFINITELY need to modify the ECU and fit a boost controller.. id recommend a decent electronic boost controller, which I suppy for 200 + fitting And FCTuning Nistune ECU Solution - 450 supplied fitted and mapped + dyno time* the fitting of the boost ontroller takes around*1/5-2 hours on a 300zx , your alternative is to fit a Turbosmart bleed valve but I dont recommend it really as they are a little crude.. .. having the electronic controller will give you 4 settings.. The ecu's I do on an exchange basis (as I pre prep them saving time on fitting and I always have them read), so that takes around 10-15mins to fit.. the engine is then live mapped on the dyno whilst you watch the power rise.. a little like this, but the is taking things to the next level ;) when would you want the tuning done ?* http://fctuning.com/fctwp/?p=1894 Regards Steve SadlerFCTUNINGengine management tuning solutions
  5. It was sitting 3 years the lump if that helps? Jimmer, are they standard or uprated pistons in there?
  6. Hmmm, so what are you trying to say? I shouldn't bother going for more power even though all the bits are uprated, new and all seals/gaskets are changed?
  7. Ok boys, all good advise, thanks. Jimmer... I think I would of done if the milage was higher than 25k, was it a bad move no to?
  8. Bump... JeffTT, Jimmer, Vodkashots... Anyone else? :-)
  9. Jeez, I missed 2 then lol... Shame, so many bloody cars that day, immense! I was with the green/black definitive cruisers stand but mine isn't finished yet, had to get a lift up with the club owner lol
  10. Black zed in a club stand with DAZ on the number plate, had dual slot custom nose
  11. Thanks guys and Leo... That's thee guy who rebuilt mine, he's rebuilt that rs engine back to show room condition and spent thousands on the thing, phat car hey.
  12. Hi peeps, finally after a year off the road my rebuild is coming to an end. This list is the stuff I have spend out on the new engine to be swapped for my old overheating lump. Could someone with real knowledge please give me an overall spec for this list and give advice on a decent tuning company to get the most bhp without leaning out on stock internals. Thanks. A few pics of the original buy, plus all the new stuff done at the end of the list. Hope you enjoy as much as I have putting money into this beast. =0] --- New Replacement Engine/Turbos 25,000 miles only: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Idlers, cam belt, water pump, top and bottom end gaskets and seals replaced. 13. Oh, no sorry Jim, got everything apart from the centre bit, spoke to a mate of mine who is an excellent welder and he said once the new engine is complete/in the car he is going to do a custom fit on the exhaust... so good news =0)
  14. Make a new earth, I had the same issue, the black wire on the main iso connector is ground, bypass this and ground it straight to the chassis. Mine came straight on after the fix!
  15. Thanks jaffa, I might use it, will see what happens with this thing, might carbon wrap it to hide the hairline
  16. Yeah thanks Tudor.... And a great help Vodka bud ;) Will let you know what happens..........
  17. Yeah true, will keep my fingers crossed
  18. Japspeed got back to me with this: Hi, Thank you for your enquiry, unfortunately we do not sell a centre section or the X pipe as it may be referred to as a separate item, this part only comes as part of our cat back exhaust system. Regards Paul Mott GREAT!!! :'(
  19. These are the new 2.5" bore backboxes for the decats:
  20. The decats I have are 48" long and are these ones....
  21. oh, just a question..... This wont fit on my 300 ;-/ the plastic blue clips are in the wrong places and the brake light plastics where the screws are set in get stuck on the metal ‘o’ rings they’re meant to go through to fasten. It wont be pushed in the old brake hole for the old spoiler, any ideas??? I've now developed a bloody hairline fracture in the thing and think I am going to have to go over it in silver to match the bodywork... maybe mould it into the tailgate ggggggrrrrrrrrrr, I was so careful too! If you do get one, the Z Centre sells them and is fookin' lush!
