I always thought about classic policies when my car is old enough but my problem would be losing my NcB is I ever needed it agai. Not the classic policies fault but because they wouldn't take it in to account or use it, then I'd lose it after 1 or 2 years (depending on the new insurer). I'm also iffy on the number of miles I'd want to do. My other worry as I don't know the answer is whether or not they would actually replace the mods etc or whether they'd just replace/pay out the value or the standard car.

I guess people are always worried when people are giving stuff away. I was talking to someone who'd had 2 of those units stolen from her audi . the first and then they came back and stole the replacement.

My first zeds suspension was too soft (UK car). When I bought brand new stock suspension it felt bloody lovely. One of the smoothest cars ID had. Loved it
