I did inanely agree on the moustache and again something I've been considering as the grey looks a little old. Then I think, should I do the wing mirror brackets too? I'm not too keen on the impul bumper though

I'm wanting your ideas really on what might improve the looks of my car (externally). Generally, I think I looks pretty nice but as with everything, there's always more than can be done so I'm interested in what opinions people have. Please don't be shy, I certainly don't take offence if others are keen and all that. Here's a couple of pictures of the car:

So many little issues with these cars aren't they. Is there a way to check things like the MAF other than the reading on consult etc? It might just be a bit wet

Thanks Andrew. The Greddy profec bspec 2 says 6mm piping. The turbos are Greddy TD05 16G with the Greddy/Trust external wastegates waste gates. The start of the manual for them is foreign but looks like its saying 8mm and that's certainly what's fitted which is why I had to use a reducer/expander thing. I'm just wondering whether the wastgates will be getting enough or the right pressure through the solenoid or whether it'll be hardly noticeable different etc

Sorry, maybe I just have been clearer here. The piping in the the solenoid of the boost controller is 6mm. It the comes out of the controller as 6mm and then changes up to 8mm before it reaches the external waste gates.

Mine are broken sadly. Pods are fine so just the holder bits please

Get it stuck in properly or maybe worth cable tie it for now. It can come out while your driving fast and you're stuck in excellaration mode which is a little scary. It's happen to a few people on here including me.

Been trying to sort my boost controller lately but when doing so, I noticed the vac/boost piping that goes to the controller is 6mm but the piping that goes to the external wastegates is 8mm. So there's a reducer/expander in there. I'm just wondering if this matters at all or if it's too small to make much difference.

I can't get away with the looks of that car, I think it looks a little odd. That being said, body styling can obviously be changed but the wide panels could be due to the arches going, plus if you weren't wanting to keep them, it would be a lot of work to change I think. In regards to the HPI thing, there's loads of databases that get used, such as dvla, experian etc and at a guess I'd think the HPI stuff would come from Experian, that's where most insurers get their details from rather than it being direct from the DVLA. Chances are, it's just been registered slightly wrong so I would let that put you off, but I would check the vin/chassis number matches the car and reg. Good luck if this is the one you go for mate
