  1. Thanks mate. I think I'll start a new thread to gauge opinions on different types of suspension
  2. It's ok. I found a spare one I bought many years ago. I've managed to get them done and I've updated my 'make my zed better' thread
  3. Well. The next step has been taken in hope of making the car look better. The Wheel Spacers. I must say, I do think it's looking a lot better, every time I come home I think, it looks mint now... Before The spacer itself After
  4. Good luck mate. I'm planning on putting the spacers on the front wheels but I've completely lost my wheel brace
  5. I got it mot'd and cleaned it.
  6. The boost controllers never worked lol. I'll pm you mate
  7. Here's the graph from mine. I know there was the mapping problems due to the timing and lack of boost controller. And now that's why I want to get it mapped again, just so I know it's perfect. I haven't got a clue what the flat spot in first is. Doesn't seem to happen in any other gear
  8. The boost controller isn't sorted yet either lol. That being said, I know it's plumbed it correctly now but I need to await a stupid took to fix the plug connector (putting the proper plug back on even though I could solder or bullet connector the wires in seconds really). It's overfuelling so the exhausts are very black and I don't really fancy hammering it down a track and it blowing up, hence i'd like a remap doing so I know everything is running ok/correctly before trying. Plus there's a small flat spot in first gear. When you'd mapped it a couple of years back the timing was drifting and appears out a little. It turned out to the the CAS, the spinny thing on the back was spinning slightly 'wonky' :wack: (it's right now though - on idle at least).
  9. Jaffa or me? I might end up having to bring the bairn to the Lakez
  10. Kind of wishing mine was mapped again
  11. Like it mate
  12. I hope you had a great day Ian mate
  13. I'd just put them behind my seats as the boot is a little full... As I'm sure Mondo will confirm since I listed the items and their use to him trying to sound cool :-). Normally, they go in the leather targa bags and you should have straps that you use the keep them from siding around mate
  14. Yup... Like is good. At least I no longer have a grey tash haha
  15. Pmsl... Especially with these white letters
  16. Shall I drive home from work with the roof off to celebrate this glorious afternoon :)
  17. God loves a trier lol. Is there much good stuff in the UK that people use?
  18. Want to bring me some back? :boat:
  19. How good are these products mate? You should bring them back with ya so I don't need to pay for import fees lol
  20. MeisterR zeta S mate. The rest is stock. I've been thinking about getting more suspension bit but haven't got much of a clue what's good etc
  21. I found the spacers. I'd bought them in 2011 specifically for the front wheels. I'd thought 20mm when looking at them myself. How adjustable is the suspension as standard on these with the tops of the wheel being slightly further in than the bottom. These are the spacers I have:
  22. Been doing another couple of little jobs. Finally sorted the sheered bolt issue from January by fitting a new bracket that holds the CAS. Pita taking the timing belt cover off and having to pry the bracket out. Put the dress up bolts on while I was on though. I also got the toothbrush out and cleaned the inside of the throttle bodies which is a well overlooked job on most of our cars. Cleaned the CAS connections too. As ever... Before and after photos even though it's a small change :
  23. And they looked beautiful when I saw them
  24. User name is a guy that's been ripping shed loads of people off unfortunately. So I hope no one bothers
  25. Thanks Richard. Hopefully a few more small touches will bring it along nicely
