  1. I know mate, it's just the first time I've seen them do that and didn't want to make the assumption that it was just due to age, buy another and the same thing happens when I should have checked the antifreeze or something else first
  2. So I've hear  Thanks mate. I've ordered a new cap but I'll get a tester to check the antifreeze mix
  3. Thanks Jeff. I've ordered one, just wondering what causes it as I don't really want to put another one in if it's something like bad fluid that can cause it if that makes sense
  4. Brilliant. Thanks Andrew. You are awesome and always have a link to everything :) Do you know what causes them to swell?
  5. I'm sure it's bigger than it was, like sticks out more at the sides
  6. Anyone seen this before? I check my coolant levels all the time, but I've noticed that the black rubber seal/gasket has expanded. Anyone have any idea why this would happen or what might have caused it. So age/wrong coolant/Poor coolant mix or something else. Been on google but can't really find anything. I've added pictures of the cap and the fluid that's been used in the car. Thanks a lot, Lee
  7. Can't be many of them about like
  8. Good ole Chunk. Great to see him fighting forward through his struggles. Always such a positive bloke. I havent seen him for a few years (at a drifting event last) but glad hes still finding a way to get behind the wheel. Great just from his mate too.
  9. I can imagine it being great on a moderately modified car. But is there a point where you have X amount of power, at which point it it's too much for the N.A. rear to handle. Or the car would be shit, a little uncontrollable to drive
  10. I knew what ya meant :) Tbh, Iive had double din dvd screens in the black car for years and I've never really had too much issue with Glare, and it's not something I'm too concerned about. I want something that looks nice / cool really
  11. I'm more thinking about whether it'll give me much in the black car, which the has a fair bit power anyway
  12. Thanks mate. I was having a look at the fitment/size of a couple of iPad yesterday. So a bigger one mounted upright taking up the majority of the panel or a smaller one side on, meaning I get my heater controls back.
  13. solid metal. In fact, I might even have some spare ones in the loft if you want to update your car pmsl
  14. It's opinions I'm after so thank you. I'm going to give it some real thought. I don't really mind the centre console bit tbh. So I was kind of thinking about keeping it as it is and using it for a single din speaker. Or maybe a normal stereo if I go the iPad route.
  15. Thanks all. I have a double din that does everything in the black one. Just wasn't too sure what to do in this one. Kind of like the idea of an apad or maybe app radio. Just not sure I want to spend much on it tbh. This is because im not sure I have the love for this one like I do my black car. I agree on the steering column covers, I might even have some sat somewhere
  16. They're actually metal inside lol
  17. Didn't you reard this bit haha.... The setup is a stereo and DVD/Sat nav screen in the normal place, then there's the DVD/SatNav unit in the centre console. So top is the screen for the sat nav and DVD player, which is in the centre armrest bit. The other one in the face is the stereo
  18. I'm debating on what to do with the stereo and surround and wanted people's opinions. A bit of background to why it looks as it does. Basically the previous owner had the aircon in the radio surround using several buttons. The display was in the square bit too. I rewired stuff back to the good old pods. But that's left holes and a very messy stereo surround. The setup is a stereo and DVD/Sat nav screen in the normal place, then there's the DVD/SatNav unit in the centre console. If I change the stereo, then I possibly lose or have to change the centre console. So I'm after opinions on what I could/ should do. What I'm toying with is either: -keep the existing units which seems pretty decent, but very yesteryear. Would need repositioning in the surround or just the surround fixing. -change to something more modern. Most likely a double din that has build in dvd and satnav. Not sure what to then do with the centre console, possibly put a single din size speaker in it. -Ipad install in the normal place that stereos go and have the air vents back. I could then use the centre console to house a normal stereo for CD's and could run the sound through the stereo via a back plug or something. Any thoughts would be awesome.
  19. Superstar!!!!! Drop me a message on how I can get them bud
  20. Did you manage to have a look mate?
  21. No pmsl. But didn't they have issues in the past or am I thinking of others
  22. Thanks a lot Simon, that would be awesome. Can I check you're talking about the right ones here. The picture attached is the one at the back I need (both sides). The A-Pillar ones isn't for the silver strip. Its the one right at the top of the seal, doesn't through it if that makes sense
  23. Andrew, would you possibly be able to help with a couple of others too please? I had a look on fast but I must be honest, I'm useless with it. The bits I need are the targa/door seal screws. From my looking on FAST, I couldn't see any at all. So, it's the one at the the top above the B-pillar. The other is a hidden one at the top of the A-pillar underneath the seal
  24. Pmsl. I'll see what I can do
  25. I could probably do that.
