  5. Untrained dogs are a public menace, to both people and other dogs, not helped by incompetent irresponsible owners! A dog can be trained to be comfortable in anothers company, shame we can't say more about the owners. Yes i am a dog owner and yes I've had my dog trained and yes this situation has happened to our Collie/ Lab Hope Primrose is fit to go soon enough!
  6. Anyone on here own this?
  7. 18 months!, what did you have amnesia? What a stunning example, got to read up on your posts now, to look at the build, look forward to seeing it one day.
  8. Happy birthday gents!
  9. " hi bud whats wrong with the car why are you striping it maybe interested in a few bits " Agree with the concerns over the depleation of apperently good Zeds, but still had you first in line, for parts, which just goes on to encourage it!! Lol I guess with little money around and a flat market for prices, when needs must these expensive hobbies make more sense breaking (especially with interesting bits on board) then trying to keep on running. If you have the knowledge and know how, then getting problem cars fixed is all part of the Fun!, but many of us buy them to use for the fun of it, given the supposed high reliability and build quality, but when they go wrong the "specialist" reccomended repairers are a bit to specialist! for many peoples budgets. Obviously fewer cars on the market with good clean spec is better for future values, but with less cars in the system, will also make them even more expensive to run and maintain, making them less attractive to get into...catch 22!
  10. Your nicked for abusing that beetle with a Tig welder!
  11. Go for a spin...make you feel young again!.. happy Birthday:thumbup1:
  12. Totally agree, western union is a favoured non escrow account for scammers, an easy spot.
  13. Wow!..Light the blue touch paper and shut your eyes...awesome! Can only dream of owning a stock one, let alone stripping and converting one. Would they buy a bare chassis on this sort of project or put a smile on the local nissan salesbod?
  14. Could have been even worse... Arrives 10s later, get clobbered by over excited woman who wins a grand, Stella goes flying, splits open...day ruined !!! Least you got enough for petrol home!
  15. We install D-Box motion actuators for Cinema seating and simulation, the active feedback gives you a far more entertaining experience than these static setups and at $90K!... taking the P###
  16. Always thought it would be a good idea to have a network of garages that can be rented out to individuals on a time basis to carry out maintenance, equipped with the Lifts etc.....wish i had done it now, instead of working on the wet drive...
  17. perhaps the paving slabs could of been used under the ramps, looks like you lost a few inches height just from shingle movement...not worth risking it, but glad your in one piece
  18. MUST HAVE PICS OR THE MODS WILL BE ALONG.......please!!
  19. Agreed!! :thumbup1:
  20. Tough lad to go through all that, hope he gets his life back after the Op. Good Luck!
  21. Back from son's scouts remembrance service at the village hall. Listened to an ex Raf pilot (90) who was 18 when he started flying against Jerry! Humbling to say the least.
  22. You're inspiring me to dig out my old telescope. Never really got to grips with it , but walking the dog in the park tonight I stopped to take in the amazing star constellations that the near black sky provided. The longer you look the more tht seem to fill your vision. We have a great observatory near us ( Clanfield) which is always booked up but highly rated. Recent street light changes have meant less light pollution so even the garden could be used..... Just need to dig out the thermals!!! Keep the pics coming Vods.
  23. Prefer the clean look as the arches throw off the low line of the diffuser, probably work better as a wide body kit with that set up, shame you can't fit as is, think it looks great.
  24. Funny!.. but there still having the last laugh!!
