6 months isn't that long. If you just parked it up im sure it'd be fine. Make sure your tyres are inflated to save flat spotting. Does it start? Run it once a month if you can. Leave your handbrake off so it doesn't stick. Cant think of anything, but im sure it'll be fine.

Its hit and miss mate. £4000 should buy you a very nice one, but as ive found in the past, not all cars are as nice as they seem on the face of it!
