Hi peoples :) while my car will be away being fettled By the Duffmeister i am going to do the headlights , i want to try and fit an indicator inside the housing, i think CJ did this mod on his superb candy apple red zed has anybody else attempted it , are there any pluses and againsts ?? any pics of CJ's lights anywhere showing the mod ?? ive decided to go the red insert look as well by the way ..........dare to be diferent :)

i have heard no bad reports about them at all ,.......like all things i supose its the preperation and attention to detail when putting things together , if one fails then its usually down to poor instalation or pre lubing or not running a turbo timer..... i like to be a bit different and thats one of the reasons i went for the PE plus they outperform most other equivolents with spool up and flow characteristics... but thats what this forum is about , if you have any reports of failures then get em posted up ......its best to be informed and make an informed decission than go on impulse Steve

i was told the standard rods are forged and are up to the job , but i took Andys advice and went for uprated forged items ( and PE turbos 1420 ) to be on the safe side .......i will be happy with 400 RWBHP nice and reliable , but if its closer to 450 500 then thats is just a bonus ....would be nice to have something work out for me positively after this last years horrendous events ...

oh no ................the bag of worms has been opened again :) do a search Jimmy there is a LOT of debate about this one ive got a FMIC to go on , but others have gone for uprated side mounts pros and cons whatever way you go ...

would guess its a 5.7 litre chevy block pushing about 350 as standard with a supercharger add another 100 or so but the tourque will be very good and hence effortless acceleration in any gear ........but thats a guess going on when i ran 60's and 70's striaght line .Americana on the plenum front where the large oval flexi conection for the air intake pipe is ..can this not be removed and an alloy box made with 4 mounting bolts to connect to the 4 bolting the throttle body to the plenum with a tube inlet on the same side as the throttle body cam and go directly from there onto the supercharger , does the flexi hose need to be there ...as the plenum and supercharger are solid fixed and shouldnt flex if a expansion joint is needed then it will be easy enough to put one in on the run to the charger ? steve

i feel it may have in some cases a detremental effect on the policing quality police are human like the rest of us and for sure might well turn a blind eye at some instances .........is it worth putting your life on the line .and bobbys have died including WPC's doing their job .........for the way the government treat the legal residents of this island ..........now if your an imigrant .....different story ....the pockets arnt deep enough cant give enough money away there .its all wrong and the problem is the silent majority ( the tax payer ) let it happen .........you all have the power to change it .vote BNP !!!
