Mine did this when I had EBC green stuff pads on and as soon as I changed them for the Hawks it stopped. Might be worth trying this first before you go to town on it

Management Lesson No.1
John wanted to have sex with a girl in his office, but she belonged to someone else... One day, John got so frustrated that he went up to her and said, "I'll give you a £100 if you let me screw you. But the girl said no. John said, "I'll be fast. I'll throw the money on the floor, you bend down, and I'll be finished by the time you pick it up." She thought for a moment and said that she would have to consult her boyfriend... So she called her boyfriend and told him the story. Her boyfriend says, "Ask him for £200, pick up the money very fast - he won't even be able to get his pants down." So she agrees and accepts the proposal. Half an hour goes by, and the boyfriend is waiting for his girlfriend to call. Finally, after 45 minutes, the boyfriend calls and asks what happened. She responded, "The b@stard used coins!" Management lesson: Always consider a business proposal in its entirety before agreeing to it and getting screwed!

confused about boost.
I wouldn't run stock turbos any more than 14psi (9psi is standard). To do this you will need a boost controller or boost jets to increase the boost and a chip/ECU remap to cope with the fueling. 360 degree bearings will make the turbos spool up quicker and are more durable so well worth it for £100 http://www.turbodynamics.co.uk/ball_bearing.htm

My Greddy Turbos
I'm a bit confused. If your engine isn't up to scratch then why did you buy the turbos? Or were you planning on doing a full rebuild, clutch, etc at the same time as having them fitted?

thread row
I watched some of this program and had to switch it off as I was in fear of 'losing it' myself watching the way these w@nkers behaved. They pick an easy target and then go for the cheap shot hoping the shock and the power in numbers will give them the advantage they need. They are vermin and are everything I hate about society, just scared little boys with a chip on their shoulder. I just hope people recognize them from off the telly and give them the proper hiding of their life that they deserve. Anyone fancy a trip to Brighton?

1.6 heavy on fuel.
Forte Gas treatmeat mate - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FORTE-ADVANCED-GAS-FUEL-TREATMENT-GENUINE-PRODUCT_W0QQitemZ170122265226QQihZ007QQcategoryZ72205QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I've heard a lot of good things about this and for just over a £5 it's got to be worth a shot.

1.6 heavy on fuel.
My mate's girlfriend had the same problem recently. She bought a tidy 1.6 megane and was getting 40+ mpg but after a couple of months she started only getting 25+ mpg. They realised it was because it wasn't getting a run, she was taking the kids to school then coming home, going shopping then coming home etc. Basically the engine wasn't even getting warm by the time she'd switched it off and it was the short trips that where causeing the low mpg. They put a really good petrol treatment in it and took it for a long trip to Plymouth and ever since its been back to doing 40+ mpg.

time to take out the engine!!

I have a difference in opinon in this as I wouldn't had a clue what K88SSA meant, looks a mess to me and it says KASSA not KAZZA. KAZ with some numbers would be better IMHO
