  1. your forgetting 'This is Spinal Tap' Mr Bunny!
  2. Why don't you PM him he'll tell you then ;)
  3. It'll do it intermittently as it builds up and then once you've given it a blast it'll clear for a little while. The only way of cureing the problem is with new turbos, try changing your PCV valves first though.
  4. Sounds like tubby seals, mine used to do exactly the same. The rear seals allow oil to pass into exhaust then it gets heated up and just gives off a grey/white smoke.
  5. I know mate and at the end of the day they are still 15 odd years old no matter how many miles they've done. If you've got the knowledge and expertise to do it yourself then I'd go for it ;)
  6. My advice would be a rebuild if you can do it yourself. My engine packed up over a year ago and I sourced a low mileage (45K) good condition lump to save on costs. 1000 miles later and the bottom end has gone leaving me in the same situation, a couple of grand lighter and without my car again for the summer. If you rebuild you could go for stronger forged pistons (Smithy sells these for £440)then alow maybe another £600-700 for main rod bearings, gaskets, cam belt and getting the head and block skimmed etc. A lot of people change the oil and water pump when they do this too.
  7. So does the Line 6 Pod XT mate, look here good price - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Brand-New-Line-6-POD-XT-Guitar-Effects-Amp-Modeler_W0QQitemZ270120658956QQihZ017QQcategoryZ22669QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem
  8. I've got a Flextone Line 6 III amp and it's ideal for getting all those classic sounds. I never heard the Behringer but their microphones have always been very good. If it was my choice I'd go with the Line 6 as they started it all with the 'pod' and even though there's a loads of similar products that have copied it I haven't heard anything better.
  9. I'm fooked if I know  Your answer sounds right so.....Yes well done

  17. Smoke and oil coming from just about everywhere, just the usual really
  18. Did you know that the Datsun 240Z was its main rival and contributed to it's demise? I had a shitty TR7 which wasn't a patch on beautiful TR6, lovely car.
  19. Broke again after about 300miles use
  20. Very possibly fella if they've original tubs, you must remember these cars are 16+ years old now. Get it to a Zed specialist and get it checked out
