  1. I have just bought mine direct from JAe on Ebay. Prob Sat only where is the updated list of people attending????
  2. where are you going to route the 50 odd wires that go to the fuse box?? You will need 3 miles of wire at least:blink:It will weigh several kilos!! easier to hide it under the wing IMO if you feel the need to move it. The battery move makes sense for weight distribution. Im not convinced about the fuse box. LOL!! However.... its your car!! etc etc
  3. Can I ask why you want to move the fuse box to the boot???????
  4. Oh!!!!!! thats OK then. Well done on a good buy!!! But dont bother calling mw when its done!!! LOL!!!
  5. +1. Soz Darren ... Im sure you will make a fab job of it.
  6. You think its here in the UK????? I dont:wink:
  7. How long is a piece of string??? If you think the market for cars is low priced then have a look at how little money parts are making(on this forum). Parts are almost being given away. Look at my threads... I have a nice tailgate ...nobody wants it No offers not even silly ones I didnt bother advertizing the doors i just stripped them and threw them away(weighed in). Leather seat set ... same thing not a single offer. etc etc Nearly every other member has starters, altenators rads etc etc to sell. Manual conversion kits fetch half the money they used to do. People will want you to send cheap big things like wings to the opposite end of the country and then complain when they arrive with a tiny scratch on them. Breaking a Z32 is hard work. Lots of space n time required And even this forum has its fair share of time wasters who say they want bits but never actually send any money. If a car sells then by definition the price it sells for is actually what its worth at that moment in time. No matter what the seller of anyone else thinks. Fact
  8. Be afraid... very afraid! some of them have poisonous bites:blink:
  9. So mixed steel scrap is still fetching £140/tonne. A pair of doors and a couple of boxes of oddments made £23. Seems a shame to throw away rust free doors cos one day we will want them.
  10. they are Aluminium.... they can be polished!!! They were all satin black when I removed them from the car. I sanded back some of it to let people see the real condition..
  11. Well not quite nothing!.... just 106 kg of assorted scrap car stuff lying around... Brass, copper, and ali. Total 106 kilos. Literally 3/4 plastic boxes/crates sorted in to the correct categories.. Weighed it in.......................................... £111.60:yes: :clap::clap: Doing the ferrous stuff tomorrow.... thats not as lucrative:angry: Still money for rubbish tho:thumbup1:
  12. anything else? Ditch the hydraulic lifters. Make them solid Bigger valves and higher lift cams will help too. They might allow you to run a little less boost and still get the power.
  13. $600 = £400 Plus shipping... $100??? Plus 20% vat on arrival + handling fee. These will be over £500 on your doorstep.
  14. Small world. Obviously I didnt know you were mates in the past. He was on the forum and posted recently about the car!
  15. FFS ive only got the injection fault fixed today!!! Im coming now. BTW your banner is WAAAAY TOOOO BIG:glare::glare:
  16. Problem fixed today!!!:clap::clap: A little diagnostic work highlighed the fact that one of the injector connector plugs had gone in to a high resistance mode due to the usual corrosion. It was not bad enough to cause a missfire but was enough to drop the voltage and alter the injector firing wave. Just need to get out for a run to check it all out.
  17. He might not have lied. Maybe the targas dont leak ...... BUT the heater matrix does!!!!:glare:
  18. Pics........................... NA version I believe. No signs of any leaking and almost no corrosion. PM to discuss/arrange.
  19. They can be re chromed in all probability. Chrome plating is an electro-chemical process. So first the item needs to be de -chromed. Anydamage rectified then it wil need to be re-chromed. When done on an industial process like... eg original wheel manufacture. chrome towelrails. Bull bars on 4x4s etc its a relatilely cheap process but small one off jobs are different and very labour intensive.. hence much more expensive. I would ask for a detailed report on what anyone who is offereing to "repair" chrome wheels is actually going to do.
  20. I have one. Only located it late tonite. I will get more detail and picture tomorrow evening if you still need one.
  21. if they are proper "chrome" plate on meatal then there is no way of re doing small areas of chrome. So you would need to look at powder coating to cover any damage ie powder coat the entire rim.
  22. ZED – FEST 12 Once again I am pleased to announce that the above event will be held at Sherbrooke Scout Camp, Mansfield Lane, Calverton, Notts. NG14 6HP. I dont think "copy and paste" buttons work on arkwrights computer:biggrin: Its usually a nice n friendly little gathering if you havent been before its worth a look.
  23. And dont forget that fan isolator switch either:glare: :laugh::laugh:
