  1. On my set up( NA of course )I have adjustable top arms and adjustable rear arms(the long ones referred to commonly as toe arms) Then you can set rear camber and toe in/tracking. This was done without any issues. I didnt get the short front adjustable ones as they arent really necessary. Nice extra if you have them tho.
  2. And now we have 5............................... Cos i have just registered today. I will be helping Bob and everyone else get some points!! I wont be a threat to anyone else taking part as Im unlikely to run below the 14 sec mark and I have never so far had an ET in excess of 100mph on the quarter mile I have asked Noel to look at the car and see if he can wring a little more out of it. so who knows??? I will be interested to see what terminal speed I can achieve on the flying 1km. I was timed at 134mph at Bruntingthorpe on the main straight but it probably took me more than 1 KM to get there. I always see lots of bo***X on the internet about how fast(or not) a 300Zx can go.... but its always people talking about it on Autobahns etc where you can take 5 miles to build it up. Its a whole different issue when you only have a km and the timing is totally independent.... not someones mate on a GPS phone sat in the car!! Anyway it should inspire everyone else to try hard and practice cos it wont look good afterwards if any of you do get beaten by a pensioner driving an NA:lol: Now where are my Mickey Thompsons... I need to put some tyre softener on them:thumbup1:
  3. Well you could do a poll???? Or a survey on the day?? I fear there wont be many. Only my JIB reg remains. I sold the red slicktop a long time ago. The next owner(from Coleshill area) used it for a good few years but I think it may have gone now
  4. You do realise I hope that your Zed is not supposed to be driven like that.... It should be parked up for rust and turbo repairs. Or you should be at home adding more Leds and taking your fog lights apart to paint them inside:whistling: Stop driving it..............................
  5. And given that there has been a little outbreak of "dissent" etc recently its just a timely reminder that most of the members are happy most of the time.
  6. The Coventry meet will be unique too in its own way. We will never have another 25th birthday!! There is no real suggestion on my part of one or other being "better" What was interesting about the Ferrybridge meet and subsequent mega convoy to "Escape" was how it just grew from an idea. For those newer members ...who wernt around then do a "Ferrybridge" search. There are a lot of threads and vids still available.
  7. I drove mine like I stole it all day round the Heritage loop at Donington. Did about 50 quids worth of fuel.
  8. So with a potentially mega meet at Coventry I thought i might look back to the last time the club excelled itself?? So.... indulging in a little bit of reminising... Were you there?? Have you still got the car?? Etc Etc. There are a large number of historical threads about the Ferrybridge meet. Here is one......................... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?68110-Ferrybridge-today&highlight=Ferrybridge It was an unlikely setting but it seemed to catch the hearts and minds of a lot of members at the time. Feel the love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Cheers Gary. Im taking the banner to Donington too. I might be the only Z32 there??? Pity I havent got any 300Zx.co.uk car stickers for it
  10. In a bid to avoid having the dirtiest scruffiest Z32 at Coventry I washed, mopped and polished mine today. I am also at Donington circuit this weekend for a Nissan event so it was time to have a banner erecting trial too !!!
  11. Probably true to say you have got there now. Britain's fastest and most powerful 300ZX.:thumbup1:
  12. Im not able to run due to ongoing engine issues. Bobgenie is taking my ticket instead. He is already there today and hopefully will get some runs in.
  13. Not me!! The car was MOTd when I had it so never took it for one. Only the VIC check. Dont bother blaming me. I only put a cheap Motor factor one on to make the car road legal as the reg was coming off anyway. Blame Daffy ....... he smashed the original one:tt2:
  14. Wimp!!!!:tt2: Turn it up.:scared: There is nothing better than seeing cars self destruct on the 1/4 mile:clap: :lol::lol::lol: Only joking!!!
  15. Thats really good news.
  16. And if the Customs people open it to check then once again you are screwed
  17. i cant make the Sat now Im afraid as Im booked for an invite only day at Donington.
  18. Done and printed off sir!!!!
  19. Several people recently have traveled to Nottingham to have work done by forum member Mark Derby. They have all posted up good reports afterwards............... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?168270-What-did-you-do-to-your-zed-today&p=1821939#post1821939 Its always tricky on recomendations. Its one reason why the club doesnt get officially involved . i too use Mark and am very pleased with his work. However he is local and he is a forum friend too.....before anyone jumps up to mention it. Even more tricky for me as Im friendly with Mikey too. No doubt other will be along with further suggestions.
  20. there are very few cars and drivers on this forum that can do less than 5 secs.
  21. You may well use a bit more fuel. Most of us who do mods like this dont really give a toss about economy. We just want to go faster:clap:
  22. One stainless steel fuse box cover in good used condition. £22.50 delivered . Paypal gift payment or cash on collection. £20
  23. You certainly DONT want to buy that Nissan mesh. Bob made that mistake.. two years after fitting it was rusty... and Bobs car never goes anywhere. I replaced it with some powder coated ally mesh from Poland exactly Chris. Bumper + lights... job done.
