No reason why you cant join in. I have set some base times for an NA this year which will give you something to aim at. I will take part next year . It doesnt matter what car you enter in so long as its mechanically sound.:yes: When I lined up against Simon Norris he didnt come over and say "hoy mate you cant run that NA against me":lol: He would be far to busy getting his own stuff done:thumbup1:

LOL!!! Because they dont count reaction time in to the ET during qualifying then all the big boys take lots of time to launch. Different matter when its the eliminators of course. As per title i have a CZP radiator support bracket to fit the Koyo racing type of rad (Ebay ones, Mishimoto etc) In good used condition with bonnet stay clip present. Check it out in the pics. £30 delivered.

Slick Pete. NA manual slicktop. stripped out.Some lightweight panels. A few bolt on mods on a high compression engine..running on Emerald Engine management. Tuned by Noz. Lots of spanner work etc by Mark Derby. 4.3 final drive. Mickey Thompsons +line lock 14.83s at 94mph. top speed at 1 Kilometer post 120mph. 48.51s for handling circuit. All done with a very old driver behind the wheel.:tt2: Nuff Zed

And its a distorted view too.:lol: I have no idea how they managed to credit me with a 40s run on the handling course????? My best was a 48.5 I also encountered a pretty stroppy safety marshall on the entrance to the handling runs:thumbdown: The funniest mistake of all was being called out for an award for best 60ft time in RWD class..................................... Yeah I wish:whistling: Another timing howler. So in summary I had a good and enjoyable day . IMO the orgainisers could have been sharper.... and in one case a bit more polite.

I have just re-connected my line lock ready for TOTB on Sunday.Got the gear lever switch fitted and I have just been out to find a bit of loose dirt road to check its working.....It is:thumbup1: Also cleaned up the Mickey Thompsons and put a few coats of tyre softener on them as I havent used them in about 18 months??

You will get plenty of them Graham. All the usual suspects will be queuing up to answer. Whether any of the responders comply with your description is another matter. Basing any plan of action on "assumptions" is risky. You really need to determine the root cause of the failure first. (In my non expert opinion!!)

I got my tickets today. So it was time to put the "motorsport" stickers on the car. Noz has got the car running really sharp so these stickers will add a few more bhp Im sure:innocent: Being serious... I personally think the stickers are a great idea. For me they send out a nice message about the club.

stainless bolts and fixings are the way forward. The give a clean modern look. Hex heads. socket heads and mushroom heads. on all my builds they feature extensively. As aleady said there are loads of highly experienced sellers on Ebay to buy from. Screwfix have a decent basic range that I use but for one car their quantities may be too much.. And again as mentioned local trade counters at specialists are ofter staffed by helpful knowledgable people. im not a fan of the coloured stuff but I have seen some really nice installations using them and Ceejay will moan if I dont give him a mention!!!!:tt2:

Without doubt the scariest drive home....ever. I was aquaplaning on my track day tyres at 40mph and couldnt see a thing in front of me. Other than that I had a great day. Sorry to miss you Baz. I saw the car tho.... looks great again. Well done
