  1. Sorry to here you are not taking part. My prediction is looking nearer a reality now ..................
  2. Although today is only 7 minutes old you have clearly won the "Funniest Post of the Day " award. :biggrin::biggrin:
  3. One of the coolest ways to open a 300ZX is with a mint condition original titanium key as supplied by Nissan:yes: (replicas arnt cool!)
  4. I dont know anything about gauge sizes. I make floorpans and under floor stiffener rails using 1.2mm I am using some 1mm helping my mate repair some Riley Elf bodywork. HTH
  5. Plus you want to sand it down a bit smoother before it goes to be done. It will make for an easier and better job for the powdercoat. IMO of course
  6. Well yes it is good local knowledge for people like Arkwright n me but it always pays to read what it says not what you want it to say ........:innocent: .
  7. A lot more than mine!!!
  8. An advert extolling the virtues with vague references to rally teams top this best that.. etc but failing to mention the two facts you really need to know. How many CFMs and what current it draws. also full of get out clauses ... it isnt powerful enough to use with stock rad Not powerful enough to use with FMIC . This has been discussed before and I think you need a fan with around 4000 CFM to be of any good with a TT engine. Im sure one of the "OEM" experts will be along to tell us the capacity of the stock viscous. I know its impressive
  9. At that price its unlikely to have anything like the cooling capacity required for your car. Especially if you still have the aircon rad in place.
  10. That looks like a good deal. Get it bought!
  11. Leon is a top fabricator.
  12. And you got some!!! However at the end of the day its your car and you will do whatever you want with it. I cant speak for Si but I was just indulging in a little Friday nite banter.
  13. I agree..... Cheesy...tacky....chavvy etc. But it would look really cool when you drive round here.........................http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/c6/McDonalds_Museum.jpg :lol::lol:
  14. Well I agreed with Joel but not from a "purist" point of view . Glittery shiny stick on badges on any car just look tacky . Lees car is a VERY smart example and doesnt need such 20th century add ons Less is more in my world.
  15. It cetainly is..........Chavtastic. Take it off FFS its truly awful.
  16. It is... And remember the car in Japan was a Fairlady Z NOT a 300ZX. So having 300ZX on them makes them fakes IMO
  17. Im with you Mr Cynical. the wear pattern for heel marks appears to be on the left side mat:scared:
  18. At the risk of stating the obvious................. Paint stripper Thinners.
  19. The correct choice... every time. Devalues a car if the egine bay doesnt match the rest of the shell.
  20. There is a 2 day meet at York Raceway on Jul 4th /5th with RWYB time available on both days. I thought I might go on the Saturday for a few runs. It is the same weekend as Jap Show at Santa Pod but TBH I am tired of spending all day at shows like that to only get 3/4 runs. York will not be as busy and RWYB people are well catered for at York. I know its not what most members do with their cars but you are welcome to join me. The launch surface is good for road cars/tyres so it would be an ideal weekend for any "first timers" to give it a go. Im always up for offering help and advice if needed. http://www.yorkraceway.org.uk/events.html
  21. Always good to know whats wrong before you attempt to fix it. If you know they look a little out then maybe a little packing shim will fix it. :thumbup1:
  22. What camber setting are you running at the moment??
  23. I run an RPS street max organic clutch on mine.It takes huge abuse with ease on the quarter mile. Very few owners on here will subject their cars to the treatment mine gets. I use a TT version + light fly but Im sure for the vast majority of owners the NA version will be fine
  24. Wise words. Yours will not have devalued Im sure. What its worth is what someone wll pay on the day you want to sell it If you have two potential buyers then just ask them how much they will pay and when they will pay you.
