As predicted..... very short list of cars for Japfest:lol: No matter. Im ready and looking forward to it My mate Steve is bringing his Time Attack 240Z along for some testing. I also think another mate Johnny is out on track with his 1JZ engined 240Z. That should make for an interesting battle ....400hp of turbo 1JZ vs 300hp on pure NA power from an all steel forged 3.0Litre L6 engine in a car weighing just over 1000kg. One thing I do know ....they will both be getting past me on the first or maybe second lap.:scared::scared: My 240hp and 1300kg driven by a pensioner just wont cut it!!! Of course we all must remember that no racing is permitted on track day sessions Yeah right.:whistling:

Taxed my slicktop and went for a first drive in 2017. Only went down the bypass and back to bed in my new front EBC Blue stuff pads and new front grooved and dimpled discs. I will put a few miles on it this week before heading to Silverstone on Sunday for the first track action of my year.

The pipe you have circled is the breather vent pipe. Do not fill from there. As Alic has lready said the fill plug is approx half way up the diff at the back. A diff should be filled from there when its level till it starts to trickle a few drops out.

No digital climate control. Manual dial easily seen in pics. That is correct for the age of the car. Usual copy n paste *****x by the Motor trader. Like most motor traders he is probably just a flash git in a suit selling cars that he knows sod all about.:biggrin:

Japfest was NEVER at Billing.

There is a dedicated "track time " paddock for parking. You can also buy an individual "display pass" so ne need to wait to see if anything gets sorted on here. Time is ticking on....

It doesnt look like it. Im just about to buy a ticket and book some track time before its too late.

A normal pressure washer using TFR in the feed will do it You could pre-treat with neat TFR in a sparay bottle. Or pre-treat with Jizer sprayed on neat and left to soak a few hours..if some parts were really bad. Blow it all dry with air line and finally with panel wipe in a spray gun. IMO of course

Airfield based tracks are always cheaper than the established race tracks. You get what you pay for basically. Dont forget Japfest Silverstone on April 30th. Individual sessions available to buy now in advance. 300ZX. co .uk had a good number of cars there on a joint stand. This doesnt look like its happening in 2017. Im still attending and booking 1 or 2 track sessions. You dont need to be on a club stand as there is a dedicated track time area available.

I am in awe of your tenacity and determination to work outside on a day as cold as today.

No matter where they locate it the format is old and tired. Single day entries are not encouraged. I dont do "camping" and I dont see the attraction of sitting round a portable barbeque watching foul mouthed idiots making a spectacle of them selves after several dozen cans of beer/cider. BTW Im NOT referring to anyone on here. I last went for a day in 2012 to Wickstead Park...that was very pleasant but...................... 2017..no thanks.
