  2. PTU connections! Coil packs? Coil pack connectors?? Injectors?? Injector connectors??? Plugs?? Fuel filter?? Fuel pressure?? Fuel pump?? Water temp sender on front pipe?? There are lots of things to check Compression check would be useful too!!
  3. Can someone point me in the right direction??? The little caps that fit on the injector tips is what I need. Ive seen them advertised but cant remember where:rant:
  4. Yep! Its charcoal in colour with 300ZX stitched in to the seat backs:)
  5. airbag wheel ... std Cruise control was always optional. Mine doesnt have it. Nor ABS either:hyper:
  6. dont be silly!!:) This is 300ZX.co.uk forum. Everyone says they are deffo up for coming................. then 3 people turn up:headvswal
  7. But you dont HAVE to go wih the "approved" monkeys. Just tell the ins company you are completely dissatisfied with their service(lack of) and get it moved to a more user friendly repair shop.
  8. Guys???? What guys?? Are you sure they are not monkeys with brains the size of peanuts. Its a Nissan!! There are dealers. They have prices. End of. Or maybe they are going to rebuild your 300 into a 350Z:xxx: We even have our very own Nissan dealer on this forum:headvswal
  9. I thoroughly support your idea of making the engine bay clean and less cluttered. i cant see how adding a pair of tacky bits of fibre glass is going to help that concept. You already have the engine out so why not just repaint the engine bay??
  10. Blueflame. great value for money . I have one. But at the cheap and cheerful end of the spectrum and NOT in3" either. Now costs over £400. And NO sports cats . Leon at Alunox will want almost £1K for a custom cat back in that size. And No sports cats included. A price of under £1k for a full system INCLUDING spoerts cats sounds good value to me.
  11. Thats what I suggested:slap:
  12. Actually Vini its a Turbo charged hearse:x: :rofl::rofl:
  13. Just what he said. You will spend hundreds of pounds fixing rusty one. There are plenty for sale without rust, mainly recently imported ones. Lots of early UK cars are now being scrapped cos they are beyond economic repair.
  14. I would have liked to come, but Sat meets are a :nono: due to lots of other commitments on Sats. Sorry.
  15. unless you are doing well over 20.000 miles a year in it a diesel will be more expensive to run. And dont dismiss the Pug so lightly. I did over 60,000 miles in mine over 5 years and it never let me down. I still see it locally driving around.
  16. Totak strip out to paint... Hmmm! I dont think so looking at the engine bay:nono:
  17. From Wakefield I guess;) Very very nice indeed . If it were mine I would get some proper Jap spec split rims for it rather than cheap Ebay stuff .
  18. He wouldnt! Well not if he wants that rear SWB skirt delivered in one peice anyway:smash:
  19. Im a professional drug dealer.... If that helps:hyper:
  20. I dont do "conventional".:nono: Conventional means a lardy LWB with silly glass bits stuck on the roof and turbos hiding somewhere in the engine bay:tongue:
  21. All will be revealed................................................. SOON.:p
  22. Roof is now done......Just need to cut the laquer back and polish it all. Its .... VERY BRIGHT:eek: Just got the tailgate now. That should be easier. I struggled a bit with the roof to get that damned pearl coat on evenly:mad:. However Im pleased with the overall quality. Its not perfect but I havent paid out loadsa money to get it done. It wont be to everyones taste Im sure but that doesnt matter to me. Check out the pics. Difficult to take inside with the strip lights in the garage. should be better outside.:hyper:
  23. Yellow Pages should give you some places. scrap dealers are divided in to two general groups. Non Ferrous metal dealers Ferrous Metal dealers. Scrap cars fetch around £100 to £150 per ton depending on the state of the market. Always ask before arriving as market prices do fluctuate
  24. Pinholes wont buff out Vijay. End of. The point I am making is that good bodyshops CAN and DO match factory finish in all respects. In colour and quality of finish. You asked what was acceptable etc. Well I personally wouldnt accept or pay for a paint job with pin holes or shit in the laquer. At the end of the day it all boils down to price. If someone is asking for £1000 to £1500 then you just wont get a top notch job. However at double that price you would expect virtual perfection. IMO.
