  1. No mate. For the same reasons. Mount holes wont line up. Driveshafts and hubs are different. You will just have to buy that Fully bushed TT frame and diff from me:wack:
  2. I would be very wary of a s/h Auto box from a source that you dont trust completely.
  3. Err .... Its not that simple Danny:slap: the first thing inside you need to remove is the pillar trim. This is held in place by a screw which you get to by lowering the window and removing the black round disc that gives access to the screw. BEHIND the door pillar trim are the two top screws holding the door card on.;) If you undo the bottom of the door card carefully you may be able to reach in and disconnect the plug on the motor loom. Then you can apply a direct feed to the window motor from a battery. Up one way. reverse polarity to go down IIRC
  4. Its all blurred round the edges:wack:
  5. a post 92 -95 car that is NOT on the Database is tested with a NON cat test. thats what I have had done today. Its 100% correct.;)
  6. no mate thats not correct. section 7.3 Exhaust Emission-Spark ignition- Passenger Cars 1st August 1992 onwards ....gives the required info .
  7. co 0.612% hc 82 ppm Result! PASS. You just need to be sure that the tester follows the correct procedure. First of all enter the correct year and model on the PC to start the test. then after that it fails to pass the first test on the analiser which it will probably do. Limit is 0.3% co. Thats hard to get without a cat!. Just make sure the tester scrolls down the NISSAN model list.. NO 300ZX found! So enter "other". That then defaults to a non cat test which allows much higher values to pass (co 3.5% hc 1200ppm.) Jobs a goodun! Didnt actually get an overall pass today due to a worn front bottom ball joint:cry: but I have already changed that this afternoon ready for a free re test on Thursday morning.:D Soooo. Japfest here I come... Slicktops rule!! Really pleased with my emission results nearly good enough to pass the cat test. Most of this has already been covered by PaulC back in 2004 but it does take a bit of searching. Another one to make sure the tester is aware of is Special Notice 5.93 which relates to the amount of free play allowed in the front top multilink arm. :)
  8. However........ It does have a wide arch kit fitted. It appears to have a decent looking set of wheels on it. The seller states that he has receipts for thousands of pounds of work/parts There are some new intercoolers. The vile bits can easily be changed. IE tailgate and front end. And he wants/needs to sell it. I know he hasnt let it go for £1200. It might be worh £2500 but probably not. but if half of what he says/claims is true then there is a lot of car/kit for somewhere between £1200 and £2500.
  9. What?? Something like 2 metres of cheap n nasty grey or silver Italian "leatherlook" vinyl:rofl::rofl: TBH.... no matter wot you do with it i think it will still look like a reject pond liner from the local aquatics shop:x:
  10. Yeh! 2 metres of cheap n nasty Italian white "leather look" vinyl should do the trick.:hurl: :nono::nono::nono:
  11. What are you on about??:slap: Its a bit of cheap n nasty fibreglass sh*t:mad:
  12. ALL UK cars came fitted with cast iron calipers. Early J spec cars had alloy calipers. TT and NA were both alloy but NA had thinner disc and a matching alloy calipers. Later J spec cars (both TT and NA) changed to TT spec cast iron calipers.

Have you got your passport??? Is a long way North ya know:tongue:
  14. Its bonded alright. ALL the way round.:D and at the top the black stuff is about an inch wide.. Make sure you dont damage the top trim or the corners as its all very expensive to buy new.
  15. On a scale of 1 to 10 where 1 is easy peasy.... changing the tailgate glass is 10.:D
  16. And IF you want to do it yourself there are plenty of places selling good quality vinyl . You just use the tweed bits as patterns and cut it out. 3m at £5 a metre = £15 But FFS sake stick with black. Coloured vinly looks really Sh**e. Particularly the light colours;)
  17. Dont waste your time. It WILL come unstuck and then it WILL look worse than the tweed.
  18. Doh! I woz typing as you posted. LOL!
  19. Actually you are wrong on that. Many people on here have bought and used these decats with good results I have seen them and they are spot on . However if you PM me I might be able to save you some money:hyper:

  23. You would be surprised just how many people in this country are semi illiterate. Ie unable to spell even the most basic words. Unable to use the correct part of a verb(tense etc) and unable to use the correct verb . Look how often to buy and to bring get mixed up!! etc. Browsing through a selection of threads on any forum will give you a clue. This forum included. i wont embarass anyone by highlighting them:)
