No Dave. Here is a serious answer. The only thing John and me did wrong was we each decided to go down an engine development route that few if any had gone down here in the UK. That meant we wer'nt able to just order a complete engine package "off the shelf" so to speak like you can from Kyle Puckett in the USA. A natural danger of doing our own thing was (for me at least) that we wouldnt get it 100% right 1st time. The Engine builder we both chose(CTM Performance and associated guy Big Jim Racing) have been very supportive. My "problem " was caused by a sub contractor, Newman Cams. However Its all been put right now and Im sure Charlie at CTM and Jim at Big Jim Racing will do the same for John,s engine.

Sorry to hear this offically. I got the unofficial heads up from Jim last week. I have just been down there today picking up my engine which had to be re done due to... err ... a camshaft problem:rant: So you are not alone with that scenario:x: All is well now with mine thanks to Jim and Charlie .... and with NO thanks at all to the E**ing Muppets at David Newman camshafts:headvswal

I occasionally have to work in one of the known "hot spots" of inner city Nottingham. I am also on occasion drafted in to a similar area in Derby. Now the truth is that it can be intimidating and there are indeed substantial numbers of low life and criminals. ( I would know cos I deal with them). They are a MINORITY element tho. HOWEVER there is still an overwhelming majority of decent people living in these areas. I also deal with them. We dont have all the facts to hand in this sad case and we shouldnt condemn whole areas of society on the actions of a few. IMO of course

But yours doesnt need to pass a CAT test. So its fairly simple . My 95 Version S is april reg and likewise doesnt need a cat test. A Cat test pass needs a CO reading of less than 0.3% and HC level of less than 200PPM. Thats really hard to get to unless you have a cat actually fitted. particulrly the CO reading

Lots of them make me angry too mate. However when you see them lying in the street etc obviously high etc these are not the ones the clinic are treating cos to be on the program you have to pass "clean" on regular urine samples. +ve test means they will be off the program and back on the street or back "inside" LOL

There are plenty of addicts living in stable family homes. Eg kids still living at home and parents trying to support them etc.Middle aged and younger people from all walks of life. You wont see or meet thes one though Allan as they are not looking to rent bedsits etc.

well Im a drug dealer so I see addicts either on a daily or weekly basis depending what stage of the program they are on.:D There is no such thing as a typical addict. some indeed are scumbags with criminal records but others are simply ordinary people who are caught up in something they never really intended to get in to. Dont be so judgemental guys. You wouldnt be saying that if it was a member of your own family involved. Drug taking is common in the UK now and many families have to cope with the heartache of having a family member, or loved one or friend caught up in this evil business. Dont get me wrong Im not in favour at all of drug use and I would certainly nuke/eliminate those members of the big criminal underworld who import and deal in these drugs, but we need to be careful in tarring everyone with the same brush.

If you are attempting to sell the car then anything other than the original colour WILL reduce its saleability and narrow the markrt as already said. Painting it stock is best. However painting a whole car in pearl Yellow is going to be a VERY expensive process. Remember all pearls are a 3 stage process. 1. Coloured base 2. Pearls coat 3 laquer. That is after you have primed everything. It will be 3 times more expensive as a solid 2K cos you need to buy 3 lots of paint. Also your preparation is really tedious for pearls and candies as they dont hide/cover as well as 2K solid colours. And it will be hard to sell cos pearl yellow is a rare colour choice. IMO

Correct. I have just got back from a very pleasant day out. Its only a small event but it does retain that club feeling. Cars were a mixture from 240Z up to 350Z Like JAE it lasts all weekend with camping, barbies etc. But Im out at work in the morning for a couple of hours .... so went today.

Im just about to set off for ZEDFEST 2009 at Calverton. The Z Clubs annual get together.
