  2. why not put your mind at rest and get a decent clifford fitted or something?
  3. If you spin the viscous clutch it should spin almost freely, with a little resistance that should stop it after about half a turn. If it is faulty it seizes and wont spin at all. I have a spare if you are stuck. You could always get some ducts to replace the fog lights, and a simple push button somewhere on the dash or centre console will suffice for the horn.

  12. hmmm didn't think they could be related, will have to get it booked in for a check up. It always starts first turn of the key and drives ok, unless its the start of a big problem, hope not! :thumbdown:

  15. Fitted them ages ago :tt2: They are Blitz ones and came on a hard pipe set that replaces the 4 pipes, the price was too good to let pass, but that won't mean anything to you lol :lol:
  16. I am in the middle of blanking off my recircs, and on the drivers side theres a bit of oil in the pipework either side of the recirc. Does this indicate anything? I've done a search but cant find anything! :helpsmilie: Also, is this the sort of thing I need to blank them off?

  19. Happened to me a few years back, the slave cylinder went pop so I had to replace that (£30) and also changed to a braided clutch hose. Is there any fluid under the car?

    I've got D1 nuts on mine, they are very light and strong, they do scuff quite easy though, but just be careful with them.
