Wheel fitment question
Mine are 18x10, can't remember if they are et25 or et22 but the arches needed fettling. That's with 255s on

Engine change and respray
Looking forward to seeing it done Ted, my mate looked at doing his car in candy red, make sure you do plenty of research on the net beforehand as it's apparently a bit of a pain to do

Another wheel opinion thread!
Not too dissimilar to mine mate, I could have ordered gunmetal wheels but I opted for hyper silver cos they look pukka :p

What did you do to your zed today?
Yep, I like that mate!

What did you do to your zed today?
Probably just a deceiving picture Gaz, looks normal here I haven't got my adjustable arms on the yet so if the wheels were any further out they'd hit the wing. Which spoiler Steve? Horseshoe still? Lol

Did over 100 miles in mine yesterday, was good to get out and about in it Also got my private plate transferred, am still in two minds about it though as it now looks like a J reg lol!

Modifying model cars
Very nice Tom. Where did you get the wheels from?

thoughts on rear arches
I had JUN arches on my old Z, rear wheels were 18x12 et -20 so had to lol Made the car certainly stand out, looked weird from some angles though. But not the back!

My Z is finally taking shape
Yeah I wanted an American project as I couldn't find any Datsuns without importing one, so got a 1941 truck that I'm reworking, Chevy 5.7 V8, roof chop etc. will post some pics when I get chance.

My Z is finally taking shape
Wheels are 18x9 et25, 18x10 et22 (iirc) Mission spoiler would be nice Steve, may be a possibility when I'm back to spending money on the Z, although I think the dodge is gonna sap all that for the foreseeable future lol

My Z is finally taking shape
This is the only picture I can find, but you get the idea! It's a Japspeed exhaust and the interior is standard '99 spec so grey-black marble effect trims and plush velour seats. Have a search on Google for 300zx's with flared arches, some look ok but it tends to ruin the clean factory flanks. IMO of course :)

eBay specials mate, maybe that's where I went wrong haha

Electrical wizard needed
Sounds like the start of your problems is a faulty fan, until it reaches the required RPM it won't go to ignition or open the gas valve. Have you looked for the manual either at home or on the net at the fault finding pages? Edit: just read your post properly lol maybe the technical helpline for the manufacturer might be able to point out which component of the PCB you may need but I'd be very surprised if they sell it separately as it's usually just a complete board so would have to be from RS or someone similar.

Haven't rolled the arches yet Steve. Although I do need to lol... It's ok as long as I don't pick up any fat chicks or go over bumps at speed! I've always been on the fence with it being spoiler-less. With the old wheels and ride height I hated it and bought a fibreglass 89 spec spoiler, but I stalled with the fitting as I couldn't decide if it would be sacrilege fitting it to a 99. But on the flip side I don't like the 99 spec Vectra style spoiler particularly, but as soon as the wheels and suspension went on I fell in love with it as a smooth rear end. Think it really suits it now and I'm more than happy with the results. Don't think I put the latest pictures up as I've been busy with my new project truck but I'll upload them and if anyone is bored they can look at them  And as I was discussing with you at Coventry Steve the colour is totally different when the sun is out!

Thanks Scott yeah I did mock up a splitter on the bottom of the bumper, it actually came from the mrs' Peugeot 307 when she hit a pheasant and we got a new bumper. It suited it IMO, I need to get another to extend the sides and fill the gaps. Winter project maybe :)
