  5. you taking the piss?
  6. haha! the new spoiler is in the car freshly painted but other things are taking priorities! :sweatdrop:
  7. nice write up alex, very helpful of you :)
  8. well the bathroom has only taken a week, but working from 7am to 5pm some days then doing the bathroom until midnight, I just dont feel like doing anything else when I have got spare time. Bathroom is almost done now though then its back on with the cars.
  9. yeah thats the one mate, good memory! he spent a fortune on the car apparently, but the £1700 quote to fix the autobox made him cut his losses. I guess the money was spent on tidying it up, its already had new rear arches and a fibreglass spoiler, and probably a full respray.
  10. erm well I've tiled the whole bathroom and fitted new sink, toilet & bath. oh and new taps lol. :whistling: on the car I changed over the PAS gubbins that was a nightmare but the gearbox is still laying there underneath the car, was gonna try and attack it next week.
  11. when are you free? joking aside you are welcome to come and get my TT running. as much coffee and biscuits as you want and a bit of cash for your troubles. lol
  12. blimey daz, you must be prepared to travel for the 'right' van
  13. it is a fibreglass spoiler... how do you know its one of yours?
  14. Theres no way I'm breaking this one, its far too tidy for that, plus it helps me get rid of an engine and gearbox out the garage that I cannot seem to sell. It was taken in part payment for a job by a local mechanic that I know of, it was owned by g60badboy on here and then sold to dubberdean with a dodgy autobox, which led to a knackered engine 5 miles into the journey on the way home.
  15. well spotted! :detective:
  16. If I was a day later, this car would have been on a scrap pile, which would have been a great shame. But I've now expanded my Z collection with the addition of this rather pretty pearl white NA. I had to remove the front bumper to tow it back. Its really tidy and had some money spent on it, but its not all gravy, as the engine is knackered, as is the gearbox and also the radiator! (thats probably down to the wrong top hose!!! :slap: ) the exhaust has been sold as had a couple of interior trim panels but I've already fitted new ones. I have an engine and manual gearbox 'in stock' hence the reason I'm gonna repair this one up! :thumbup1:
  17. 7 here... and I can account for # 8 and #9 my previous ones which are now scrapped :(
  18. thats a far more believable figure, is that for manuals and autos?
  19. dear oh dear :nono:
  20. not the wheels, they're aftermarket!
  21. erm did you not see the attempt at recreating the mexico in mk6 escort shape... looks as good as the original! NOT!!!
  22. RIP, a bad month for motorsport, the video is shocking and not very nice to watch :(
  23. Actually, NUMPTY... it was 280 with 8 behind the box :2guns:
  24. isnt that the wrong way round? lol :1eye:
  25. I guess the number plate which says GONN doesnt help... (sorry) :tt2:
