  3. Wow they are really nice Gary!!! No wonder you were soooo excited and keeping them a secret! :thumbup1:
  4. Sorry Gary not at the mo. The last seeds I planted didnt Work. They TSW'd instead. :sweatdrop:
  5. If you have a drill then I'd certainly recommend halfords alloy+copper+brass polishing kit, you get two mops one soft and one a bit harder, both with corresponding compounds. The kit is under £15, did my plenum and it looks great but it does take a long time.
  6. Looks great mate, what did you use? My balance bar is rubbed down but thats as far as I got.
  7. You are most welcome alan. I was hoping it was a useful suggestion. :tt2: I dont know the real answer, not all of us are rich like you and can afford to upgrade to series 2
  8. I reckon all the chrome in your engine bay is at such an angle that the suns rays ping around causing excessive heat, which has resulted in the failure of your series 2 power transistor unit mr alan :cool2:
  9. In the UK the propeller shaft is the longitudinal shaft designed to deliver power from an engine/transmission to the other end of the vehicle before it goes to the wheels. The driveshafts or 'half shafts' transmit the power to the wheels. :cool2:
  10. They sure are. I grow them in the garden you know. I'll let you know when the next batch are ready for picking. :cool2:
  11. I'd say go for it, I sold a GTR to someone from sweden, and a GTST to someone from belgium, the latter was picked up on a recovery truck and no problems with either sale.
  12. 18s for me... just like mine (Work Equips)
  13. Happened this morning about 5 miles down the road from my house, plane was on the ground and it was something to do with the ejector seat or parachute not opening :( So soon after Jon Egging died too, RIP http://www.thisislincolnshire.co.uk/Red-Arrows-pilot-dies-following-incident-RAF/story-13788887-detail/story.html
  14. Nice car, I saw that on ebay. What did you pay for it as it run its course and no-one bought it for £995, which was a bargain.
  15. small seven, thats all I'll say  looks good though, nice job
  16. Do you have any pics of your beastie?
  17. I've got a pearl white one too!
  18. ^^^ LOL at the same response x 4
  19. Welcome along... are you a Z owner?
  20. If you sell them I can imagine you'd go for some ebay specials. So I vote for refurb, I also like JDM wheels, if yours are rough(ish) at the mo then they are probably worth £300ish.
  21. Wow, what an emotional story :(
  22. I think we all have stories about old cars, hindsight is a wonderful thing as they say. I got offered a mk2 escort mexico replica with the full kit, correct engine, seats the lot, £250. I didnt have the space at the time!
  23. welcome back Ron... have you found it yet?
  24. I cant wait to see some pics of these simplified plenums etc. I wasn't really bothered about engine bays until a few months ago when I polished my plenum up, now I want a clean bay too
