  1. looks ok but not crazy over it!
  2. thanks for the the info guys, will have to do some calculations and see whats what. I dont really like my straight tyre walls, yours looks great Alan, and the reflection of your dog always makes me laugh
  3. hmmm. best get some 195s then. ok so what about the side skirts?
  4. I know... car mad said mine would never be that far out without spacers, but depends on the offset. I know mine are at least 9.5" at the rear.
  5. So what size tyre would I need to make it look like that? 245? 235? think my rears are 9.5" or 10"
  6. I guess them tyres are 'stretched'? what size do you think, as the ones on my wheels have a flat sidewall (265/35 R18s)... All my suspension arms are adjustable so wouldnt mind trying to achieve the same look with spacers etc. Also, whats going on with the sills, seems much wider? does it have skirts fitted if so which ones?!
  7. lol I've been through that before, some people refuse to let couriers collect them even though its the same as the buyer collecting them. But with stricter time restraints.
  8. think you need to stop buying things you cant collect lol
  9. DUH obviously, you cant drive through buildings :clown: :tt2:
  10. Welcome Eggs, you've got a cracking Z there, always loved it! Certainly looks like its gone to a good home, was hoping it wasnt going to get broken up! You are at the right place, loads of good advice on tap here :thumbup1:
  11. what if that MOT station is full of tossers and you wont take the car there?

  13. gutted mate :( bit of a fail moment!
  14. I think Amsterdam only keep the one with the red lights in?
  15. at least its good for your post count, spam-boy :clown:
  16. does that stay in the engine or need flushing out and an oil change? as I've just put magnatec in it :(
  17. Cheers guys. I was a little concerned as we'd gone through all the effort of changing the engine, was hoping it wasnt a waste of time! well pleased with the results today. I relocated the PTU too, theres a dicky connection on there which wasnt helping matters.
  18. Had a day off today due to working late on friday  Started off by changing the ball joint on the golf ready for MOT... then it was onto the Z's :shifty: Me and mikey bean changed the engine in my TT a few weeks ago, but it was misfiring and making a tapping noise from the top end. I started with the usual suspects and unplugged the coilpack connectors whilst it was running, the first two on the left made no difference to the engine note, so that was a good start! So me and my mate took all the connectors off and cleaned them up along with the coilpacks. Started it up and it runs a treat now, took it up and down the road which felt great, I've not driven it for so long. Parked it up on the drive but left it running, by now the tapping had all but gone so assumed it was down to the engine being stood for about 6 months in the garage and just needed a run? Then the secondary fan kicked in... the temperature gauge was sky high so let it cool down and found it took a couple of litres of coolant & water, so its now found its level. And the viscous was knackered, good job I had a spare in the garage :shifty: With all these jobs now done the car seems to be running great, so back in love with it :thumbup1: was even going to fit my new spoiler but run out of time. And to finish off the day we took the engine & autobox out of the white NA ready for a fresh engine and manual conversion, NA's are soooo easy to work on lol  and a pic of the black one to help me get interested again lol
  19. no worries mate, glad you received it ok :thumbup1:
  20. Welcome back Jimmy
