I had to do this with our golf when it wouldnt start, it easy once you've got your head round whats going where. Depending on the immobiliser it'll either immobilise one circuit (ignition) or two (ignition and fuel pump). remove the immobiliser wiring and crimp the standard circuits back together.

So we were sat in the waiting area of the maternity ward yesterday struggling to keep a straight face, because Steve from Autoglass (off the adverts) was sat next to us.
