Sure I read somewhere...
pull the motor from what i understand it will take about the same amount of time to do unless you knwo exactly what your doing. and if you pull the block you can sort so much else out while your doing it rather than sort that out and in 6 months time have to pull it again for something else. pull it out and do all those things that take five minutes with it out but ages with it in. plus the fact something has caused the turbo to die, if for example its oil starvation you will be in a far better position to safe gaurd yousrself against a reoccarnce.

Interest in my zed - or lack thereof..
that does sound alot better, and agreed about the pics. the ones on pistonheads just dont do the car as much justice. i know when i was looking at buying my zed i looked at getting a tt and when i weighed it up the difference wasnt taht great so i went for a tt and i think most people probally do. for the right person its a bargin, but for joe blogs its an expensive zed when they could have a half decent tt for less. im sure you will sell it it will just take time.

secret zeds
In my local area there a few zed i recon roughly ten. 3/4 or them are known. but who do the rest belong to? one of the other local guys pulled along side in his zed one of the msytery cars to say hey the guy, in his 50s id say stuck his finger up and drove off. so heres the list red uk spec witha low level zeemax spoiler midnight blue series one na silver na black heavily modified high level spoiler i cant believe there just driving around not part of any club or forum. all these cars ive spotted recently in the dorset area or ringwood way i have also met a chap witha series 2 red na who was rather pleasent and isnt on here and i told him he should its ever so usefull. just gets you wondering when you see a few about that are unknown and how many there are on ebay that are unknown. how many are there in the country? and how many are just driving them about without contaxct with other zed owners

alloy fitment (please opinions)
with my limited understanduing of how wheels work, other than the whole turning buisness. i take it for the 18 inch wheel on the front to fill the arch i would require an offset of 30/32 so with the offset of these being 40 a ten mm spacer would push them out to fill the arch quite nicely? is that correct?

Is it just me?
maybe your all just lanky :D im 5'9 and its perfectly snug

one cylinder not working properly
it may well be the injector connector itself, is the top rubber boot damaged? they get badly corroded as you know, but somethimes the corrosion inside is just too much. you should be able to test the injector loom with a multimeter. with some patience. if it is that then its a case of buying a new connector for a few quid and pigtailing it into the existing loom.

Rice Burner ???

Newbie 300ZX Wanted!
I use the zed as my primary car but not for travelling back and forth to work. just too damn expensive on feul. round town ie 30 limits and traffics lights etc i get around 15 to 19 and on the motorway and fast country lanes i get about 25. mines an auto tt. i believe manual tts are a little better on fuel. and n/as are better round town but worse at motorway speeds.
