  2. well if you cant what about some very fine wiremesh, almost like a gauze witha binicle to tidy up the edge. air can still pass but doesnt allow you to see the gubbins
  3. ah i see, be nice to delete it entirarly in that case and just run a leccy fan
  4. why would you want to? i take it you dont have a fan shourd? would that not be a better looking more effect method of making the front face invisable?
  5. pretty sure the engine they used was a z31 engine a 12 valve version of the z32s motor. so you would assume the bellhousing fitemnt is the same. althouh i wouldnt assume that there teh same box or the same streth my mate has a 300c its ****
  6. you will prob see worse jane, few years back i lost my kneecap round teh side of my leg. few hours later 3 of those silver trays takeaways come in of puss and blood and it was sitting sum where near handy. poor nurse had to suck it out witha big syringe. my poor mother who took me to hospital had to leave the room as she was about to pass out. all in all a rather inconveint day
  7. its the circular one taht sits between the wishbone and hub assembly? correct? theres a 23mm nut on there i believe which try as i might i could not get leverage on from any angle. whole new corner from jeff is cheap as it it
  8. im sure here was a member on here that utiluised the bottle from a fiesta or something
  9. me and my mate had a little test of speed, he has a stripped out scirroco witha 2.0 16v passat engine in it good ratioed box. power to weight its quite a weapon been burning a few cars in it. well he kept up till 60 then the zed just breezed on without it. and ive done a 350z he really didnt look to pleased
  10. oh that made me laugh, there was ayoung guy down the local oval a while back reving his tvr, my mate had a word in his ear and explained they dont like that etc etc and his tvr will not last long like that. well it didnt last till the end of the night POP
  11. lol the way you drive through winton banks traffic lights lol im not surprised poor old robin rolled haha
  12. oh dear, that gonna bump the price up.
  13. i replaced the wishbone, total asshole to get that thing out
  14. do you hav eto suck it till it pops or just pop yours lips round it? im cheap lol
  15. obviously zeds are fairly quick not the quickest but pretty dang quick and alot of people seem a little surprised by how quickly you loom on them and the shiny new 2 seater "sports car" so out of interest who has out run what. and what is your zed running bhp...auto/manual etc
  16. :whistling::whistling:if its on the internet it must be true....:whistling:
  17. oh are they that something i may do myself then. proper seatbelts in teh rear saves lives doesnt it lol you know what i mean. you should pop across the water next weekend man sunday the 28th i believe. may be a few zeds at a local jap car meet
  18. yeh that sounds the same as mine i think. the tax office people are actually not that difficult or useless, quick call is your answer. mine was wrong an old job hadnt issued the p45 and i was having my main job taxed as a second income ended up getting a grand back
  19. yeh cant be too expensive. you just sick of the seat beat oretation at present then?
  20. yeh get it done properly, if you get it all slaggy and shit and full of air. it will be about as strong as cuckoo spit and look like it too. i seem to remeber something from my welding days that a properly laid 1ch of weld can hold a ton in weight
  21. that zed is awesome apart from the white centre panel
  22. take it off the road for the winter. do a sniff test, then weigh up your options. save some cash up. it might not be he said almost certainly be an optimist, it makes zed ownership far easier. worse case senario it is that and you will have to pull the engine. coul do it yourself or ask sum 1 local to help for a bottle of whiskey and a promise you will do teh same for them when they need it. spend some big cash get a rebuild and have the car you always dreamed of. or try driving it to zedworld when it breaks call the rac they will take your car to zedworld you can go home without it. theres no rush is there, soon the weather will be crap and you wont wanna take it out anyways
  23. tbh i cant remeber spefically myself, leave it lol. its quite amusing to read people getting all excited as long as were all helping eachother and all LISTENING to eachother, that what matters. cub spirt i dont care what car people own if they know how to help and are willing to pitch ahand its good enough for me. ive worked on vws, bmws and various other heaps of crap taht my friends have blown up and decided they wanna fix. few cans and a long sunny day its all good
