  1. i think if you made it £50 and aimed to sell 100 tickets you would find it easier as moany more people will take a chance on £50 but a hundred nah.. and 100-1 is still pretty good odds.
  2. Bull lol I dont think they will produce it, it looks like the new mc clearen. I will eat a whole deviled egg if this hits the road as a production car.

I seem to remember being told that you can use the connectors from something else andd its cheaper, cant remember what though
  8. i would agree around the 5-6k mark would be a realistic price as said though buyers a far and few between. having said that a stock car will always be worth more in the long run. just enjoy the car for what it is, as im sure you know making cars make money is generally a fools game. keep it stock keep it mint sit on it one day it will be worth money.
  9. the other suggestion they came up with is to tap wind in a bolt or a bolt attached to a slide hammer. :)
  10. mines recenctly started it but my steering goes heavy at the same time. only does it like every thirdf time i use it not a regular issue but once ive floored it a few times it comes back.
  11. Us site recommends using 1 leg of a 3 leg puller, inside to tap out. Look at the walkthru over there
  12. swear i saw that car in banzai once. not keen on those rims always thought they were odd looking other than that it was a really nice car mate. as for your zed predicament, i wouldnt be to quick to right off a tt. many insurance companies charge less.... believe it or not. and fuel consumption isnt that differnt with mixed driving. on a long run on duals and motorways a tt will be better on fuel. sadly an na is far easier to work on and generally more reliable due to being cooler running and more spacious engine wise.
  13. why bother you will never use it. most remove it, i recomissioned mine last year ive used it once to see if it works. taht was when the football was on and everyone was at home. you cant drive along like that in this country becaus eof the way others drive your constantly dropping outta cruise. also it uses more fuel.
  14. i cant hear that over the exhaust lol
  15. my highlight of 2011 was not breaking down hopefully 2012a highlight will be my first 1/4 mile and more not breaking down action :)
  16. as above really, and it all depends on what sort of driving your doing witha light foot and halthy engine cruising at motorway speeds 300 miles to a tank is about right. in reality most of us get less, i get about 20 mpg as an average figure but it can be way less. the best ive ever had was just under 30 mpg. i try to get min eto have an annual health check to keep her running sweet. its cheaper in the long run.
  17. ive decided bearing on budjet that its best to get the car to a certain standard things that i have on my list have been dropped in favour of others. as im working on a budjet ive tried to streamline to cut costs. for example my car does not need side skirts or a spanking iced out interoir. but theres something thats a hurdle for me. the air con. ive never known weather it just needs regassing or weather its fubared or what. the project is at a fork where this is concerned. because if it dosent work because its fubar and needs x spent on it it can go. il pull it straight out save some weight and simply the engine bay. but along with this comes the thought process of do i need eletric front seats, if thers no air con why not do away with all the other "luxuary" items. cruise control blah blah blah. Part of me says if it works keep it it will add value to the car if you have to sell it, having all the toys working is good for resale. (fact) So how can i work out the air con buisness? and would ripping out all the guff and making a more focused car out of it actually detrement its value that much? its not in daily use its a cruiser and a b road toy at present that i plan to get to a point i can run it on a few track days so obvioulsy bigger brakes etc are wanted eventually. ive never wanted to be carpetless etc. a bit like the american boys do CAGE BUT CARPET. :)
  18. whats teh purpose of it? i noticed this chunk of metal when i was fitting my spoiler.
  19. could come over the water south central are having a meet in hellraisers pub.
  20. you say that but depemdant on how cheap m sure theres some non turbo blocks hanging about could be a cheap project depends on how mechanically inclinded you are.
