  1. Just looked at the sxoc advert, definatly murts old car. Just go veiw it and buy it already lol. It's only the m4 away lol, nice day out. If you drive it and don't want that one one you will still want one but this one was mechanically well maintained, it's very cheap for what it is, lick of paint and it will be a very nice motor.
  2. As a guess to compliment the wider rears?
  3. Hrm, maybe it was that some Jspec have it as well can't remember now. Were going back a year or two.
  4. Thing is how far will they go? Far enough to disassemble a light unit to decifier the bulbs used? Enough to check what ecu you've got or what turbos you've got, even far enough to check the diameter and brand of your pistons? I'm not saying you shouldn't declare or that it's nothing to be concerned about but I'd like to think unless you made a serious mess it wouldn't go that far. At which point the insurance is your last worry as you'd be in jail/dead.
  5. Forgot about that subtle flair, although it doesn't seem to be consistant. Some don't seem to have it, carmad was discussing it a while back.
  6. As above euro spec car, headlamp washers smoked indicator dummies and side light/indicator in the fog location. All euros are Lwb as pointed out. Anyone care to post up a harder one?
  7. Right then guys, nice easy one. Can you tell if this zed is a long wheel base or a short wheel base. The answer is actually very obvious for those in the know, but for the newbies please don't spoil it. we can reveal the answer tomorrow once they have had a stab at it. Just a random z32 from google images. Feel free to add more examples, but make sure you know 100% which one it is before you post your tester pic. Hence the reason I piced this pic, no cheating fuel filler flap shot and another tale tale that makes us 100% ok here we go....... SWB or LWB?
  8. you guys ruined it lol, I was waiting for the fish to bite.
  9. Be interested to see how much difference its makes, Im going through the process of making my car go kart tight so this may end up on the list.
  10. :sleep1: that's just opinion, most people cant even tell unless there side by side... both cars in my signature are swb. most wouldn't notice if they were or weren't. The difference is the swb is 8" shorter in the wheel base ie the the rear wheels are further forward. This saves some weight and sharpens up the chassis. Visually this diffrences are most obviously the extended rear quarter panel and window, the fuel filler flap in located in front and behind the rear wheel respectively and the lwb has a slightly larger buldge in the bumper making it longer again. B pillar forward both are identical, the differences behind this are mostly comestic ie panel diffrences because of the rear window angle. the actual subframe and running gear is identical. In the states tt models were all swb, where as here in the uk only one model was available lwb tt. if your building a track car then really you have to be using a swb for its sharper handling and weight loss, preferably a slicktop to further extend the differences. If you want a monster cruiser focused around b road fun and soaking up the miles that's were the lwb comes into its own.
  11. So single 3" exit no back box just a resonator? I bet that's pretty damn load! Is it legal?
  12. I'd love it if some one made the oem wheels but bigger. I love the design but they're sooo small. A 16" wheel on a car this size and design isn't right by today's standard.
  13. I still recon your mafs are ducked
  14. Take the mafs off and stick then in the warm and dry. Remove your battery and then put it back in the morning, without the mafs it it idles and revs to 3k without them, refit them and try again. If it then runs crap they are likely duff, I may be worth bypassing the selin and using one then the other to see if ones a winner. Mafs do not like the wet.

  17. It's that time of year I'm afraid. I got caught about 18 months ago, unmarked car in a layby behind a bush. Booked me as I entered a 30 from a 60 and didn't brake rather coasted on the gear. 40 in a 30. Tbh I was annoyed, I wasn't accelerating I was obviously slowing down but I was speeding, no arguing with that. They were alright because I didn't argue, I remember him saying "are you not going to deny it" I just laughed and said no we all know I did it and it's right there on the gun why bother trying to lie...£100 later and a few hours of misused stats my licence was back in my hand. Hopefully they will offer it to you. It's quite an enlightening day out, I say enlightening because you will realise It's a cash cow idea, some of the attendees offences are hilarious There isn't a typical violator, I think we had knits about every demographic in the room 50% of it is bullshit My favourite parts were the chap telling us that 30mph zone scarecrow least safe, most accidents happen here, further probing revealed yes they do but virtually none are serious, it's the a roads where your mostblikelybto suffer injury or death. Make of that what you will, what I consider danger is what's dangerous not were bumps happen. However my favourite bit was the proud exclaim action that Dorset has the safest motorways, very few accidents happen here. Funny that because we don't have any buddy.... Enjoy it, it's quality dross.
  18. A few people commented on that, even when at 60kph it looks wrong.
  19. I'd be up for a few sessions this summer, one booked for April more is good though.
  20. Luck mate. I've seen a man fall nigh on 50feet onto his shoulder and head(helmet on) out cold the sound and the force and that enter nitty of pause before people got to him, I thought he was dead. A few minutes later he stood up and walked off. Conversely I've seen a girlfriend trip on a broom and shatter her arm.
  21. Ohhhhh really, I'm dying for an opportunity to drive like a hooligan without fear of my liecense.
  22. Too cooler plug will cause fuel fouling potentially, this can lead to excessive carbon deposits miss fires and preingniton. Basically if the combustion cycle is inadequate you could end up frying the pistons.
  23. Odd isn't it, I was a bit if an extreme sports junkie as a teenager, plenty of bones etc and spent my fair share in A&E for myself and others. One of my friends, we joke and say he is like a cat. I've seen him land on his feet from 15 foot up and run out of it not even fall over. I've always had a good ability to just roll and get away with it most of the time, unless something got in my way or landed on me. Another friend rarely crashed but always broke bones, one night he fell off a 10ft wall pissed as a fart I honestly thought he was going to be a mess with his history and the slap he made, turnt out he was fine just a little bruised and well even drunker than I thought lol.
